Brendon Oldendorf, also known as the King Cake King, is a graduate of LSU in electrical engineering and works as a project manager for a power company. He loves tasting and reviewing king cakes and posting humorous videos online. Brendon resides in the New Orleans metro area with his queen and their four young princes. Mary Ann McCall, born in Lafayette, Louisiana and raised in the New Orleans area, is the author's aunt and has always been a fan of king cake. She received a BFA at LSU and was then recruited to work as a process artist for Hallmark Cards. Mary Ann has taught children's art for years and was thrilled to illustrate her nephew's first king cake book.
