Book Synopsis

Mason's favorite starfish toy is missing, and he's convinced Raj took it. The two of them were playing with Asia; they went inside to wash their hands after eating jelly sandwiches and when they came back it was gone. King and Kayla want Mason and Raj to be friends again, which means they have to figure out what happened to the starfish.

Dori Hillestad Butler has published magazine stories, educational materials, plays, book reviews, characters for a board game, and forty-two children's books. Nancy Meyers is the illustrator of the King & Kayla and the Language Together series. When she's not busy drawing, she loves spending time with her daughters, visiting dog parks, or going for a nice long hike. She lives in Minnesota, where she is known to be a spoiled-dog enabler.
