      Seems like a great price and color selection for elementary school...but really Does not have much pigments/coverage.

      I purchased the compressed chalk. Lovely texture, doesn't crumble, beautiful vibrant colors. I plan on purchasing a second set - I'm that pleased. The 'gift' was a sweet surprise.       Unfortunately, I had gotten this larger set while it was on sale to try out chalk pastels. Some sticks rubbed on smooth, others well... They were very chalky and dry. It's possibly a learning curve as with new mediums but not entirely what I expected. For $20, I'm not sure I would reccommend it. Though right now I'd gotten it for $7, so I suppose I got what I paid for?

      This is square sidewalk chalk

      The result here is not what I expect from any sort of pastels. These are sidewalk chalk, the same quality you buy for your kids to play with for $1 for six giant sticks at walmart. The second star is because there are a lot of colors, but they are painful to work with, do not apply nicely, do not blend well. Save your money on this and get the PRO soft pastels.

      Stuck at Home- saved by KINGART!
