Kingsford Low & Slow All Natural Original Charcoal Briquettes 12 lb

I've always used regular Kingsford charcoal briquettes, and decided to try the Kingsford Low and Slow by using the snake method in a Weber kettle, yes it works low and slow using this method the first low and slow went about 6hrs and I stopped it from burning any further and saved about 10 - 12 briquettes, I have done this twice so far, it's a really good charcoal briquette for doing a low and slow cook.

Tried this for the first time today. I was very impressed. Lit up fairly quick . Held great temp. Was easy to maintain steady temperature. Not much smoke when first lighting. Lasted way longer than any other charcoal briquettes I've used. Gave great flavor to the ribs I made. Highly recommend trying.

Bought this a couple of weeks ago knowing I would be cooking a brisket and pork butt for the forth of July. I had been having trouble regulating te heat on my Rocky Mountain Smoker. This product does the trick. Temp stayed consistent between 225-250 for the entire 13 hours. Will be my go-to charcoal rom now on.

I was skeptical that this would be any different than the standard blue bag, but man was I wrong. I did a 6 hour smoke off one load and it was still holding 200 degrees at 9pm, I ended up having to put it out with water. 100% buying only this for smoking from now on.

I love how these charcoal briquets are 100% natural and burn for way longer.  The key to knowing how to use. This is understanding that it is going to stay at a low, slow temperature. This will help you feel like a real grill master. You can use it in ceramic grills and smokers. I used it in a smoker to cook out brisket. Loved the experience.

Easy to light and they stayed lit while slowly burning. I was impressed that I could actually tell the difference in comparison to the old kind I used.

Had a nice smoke ring and were still tender and moist. I’m thinking we will try out using them for carnitas next!

I tried cooking with them twice, the first using the directions on the bag of how to use them and it seemed to take over an hour before they got anywhere near hot enough to cook. The second time i used them as i would normal coals and it seemed to heat up slightly faster but still took a long time. After cooking the coals stayed warm/hot for a good while after. I imagine if you are cooking something that may take an hour or so it would be a good product. It did give good favor also
