Kingsford Signature All Natural Basil Sage Thyme Charcoal Briquettes 8 lb

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our family spends a lot of time outdoors soaking up the beautiful Florida sunshine and enjoying our gorgeous white sand beaches here on the Gulf of Mexico. Along with all of our favorite fun in the Sun activities we often finish the day out by throwing some food on the grill. We recently got the opportunity to try these new Kingsford signature flavor briquettes with basil, sage and thyme and we absolutely love these briquets. They smell fabulous while they are burning and they impart just the right amount of the flavors from the herbs that are used. We used these while griling some T-bone steaks and those were the best tasting T-bones that I have ever had. I recommend them to anyone who is interested in elevating their grilling game. They have earned a permanent position in our grilling gear.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was definitely something new, thought I'd give it a shot. As charcoal they work fine, just as functional as normal Kingston charcoal. Not sure how much effect the flavor actually has though. You can definitely smell it a bit, but doesn't translate a lot to the food..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to like the Kingsford Signature Flavor Briquets in Basil Sage Thyme but the flavor just wasn't strong enough for me. I could smell the scent of Basil, Sage and Thyme while they were burning but it didn't translate to the food very well. We also had a hard time getting them to stay lit. We kept adding lighter fluid to them to make them burn. Next time I'll stick with unflavored.

We tried a small bag of the Basil, Sage and Thyme. We added some to charcoal when grilling and was very pleased. Excellent flavor. I say buy wisely because we gladly purchased an 8 lb. bag. There were 9....yes, only 9....of the Basil, Sage and Thyme flavored charcoals in the bag. The remaining was just basic Kingsford charcoal. So if buying be sure to buy a bag of just the flavored charcoal and not the mixture as I would figure that what we got was standard, normal mixture. Hopefully we will be able to find bags of just the flavored charcoals in the future. So just a 3 star review due to our disappointment with the 8 lb. bag.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried Kingsford® Signature Flavors Briquets — Basil Sage Thyme to help season up my BBQ! Usually when BBQing the food can taste like nothing but lighter fluid and thats just nasty. So why not try flavored infused charcoal, anything beats lighter fluid flavor! I have to say this product was surprisingly good! It really had a good punch of the 3 seasonings, it definitely did NOT taste like lighter fluid, at all! And that's a huge win for me and my family! I definitely will be buying more this summer and trying all the flavors!

My husband grills frequently and he loves it! My picky sons even said that it was the best chicken that he’s ever grilled! I hope that Kingsford keeps making this Signature flavor because it really is awesome and we can’t wait to try it with other meats and seafood!

These dd d a lovely flavor to the steak, chicken and veggies we made. Easy to use and gives your food a great new dimension!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the package of Kingsford - Kingsford® Signature Flavors Briquets — Basil Sage Thyme, and our family was very happy and excited by the flavors imparted during cooking. The three main flavors of Basil, Sage, and Thyme are noticeable but overwhelming. It was a nice change to not have to manually Season food, but to have the flavors cooked in, so easily, by using the innovation of flavored briquets. We look forward to trying other Kingsford products this spring and summer!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product smells good while burning but didn't notice a huge difference in flavor from original briquets. Seemed to break up in small pieces more with the aditional pieces of herbs added in to them. I would use it again.

We really really enjoyed the smokiness and subtly herb flavor that this particular charcoal added to our chicken and pork chops so far. You use it like any other charcoal it’s just that little boost of aromatics that adds a lovely flavor. Kicks it up a notch.

I was suprised at the extra flavor they added to our burgers and chicken. I don't really care for the basic charcoal flavor but these really spiced it up. The basil flavors are subtle but there. We add a little extra seasoning while cooking and everything turns out amazing! They burn well and are simple to use, no extra steps. We do keep the lid close longer to let the smoke flavor infuse more. I'm definitely going to buy and try other flavors!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This charcoal causes grilled food to be full of flavor. I made hamburgers on the grill which did pair nicely with the basil, sage and thyme flavor. It also made grilling that much enjoyable because of the aroma. Surprisingly, the hamburgers did not take long to make, under 20 minutes. I would like to try this charcoal with salmon and some grilled vegetables. I just wish this charcoal came in a bigger bag.

This is my first time ever using this product and it gives off a very strong smell that I like. It helps gives our BBQ way for flavor. Will definitely get this product more for the future.

These long lasting and quick to get to temperature, about 15 minutes, paired with the FLAVOR of basil, sage and thyme built in is a GODSEND! It gives fish on the grill and chicken too, *these are the two meats I tested it with, a new kick! Not overpowering for flavor but a definite taste paired with smokey goodness! A sure HIT for summer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kinngsford recently added flavors to their charcoal. I received the basil, sage, and thyme scented. I love these herbs. I really like the idea of this concept, but I am not sure if I really tasted any of the flavors infused into my food. Maybe I’d have to try another time or maybe a different flavor. I do love the Kingsford brand. They lasted a good while and cooked my food great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are a very food adventurous family. We'll try anything once. These briquets are genius! It makes perfect sense, too. You know how different wood will give your meat different flavors? Same concept here. The flavor notes that this added to our porkchops is so good. It's not overpowering- you don;t feel like you just ate a whole basil leaf. But the flavor of the basil, sage and thyme is there. I can't wait to use this on chicken and steak. And, I will definitely buy this again as well as try the other flavors!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been a long time customer. I always buy Kingsford charcoal. It lights quickly and burns evenly. This particular herb infused charcoal is a unique concept, but I didn't really notice the herb flavoring because I already add herbs to my marinade and dry rubs. I do like the oak flavor this imparts into the meat. I'll continue to use Kingsford, but will just throw some herbs into a pierced foil pouch and place it on the charcoal to infuse the smoke.
