About the Author
Elizabeth Laird is the multi-award-winning author of many much-loved children's books. She has been shortlisted for the prestigious Carnegie Medal for Jake's Tower, Red Sky in the Morning, Secret Friends, A Little Piece of Ground, The Garbage King and The Fastest Boy in the World. She lives in Britain now, but still likes to travel as much as she can.
Roshi Rouzbehani is an illustrator based in London, originally from Iran. As an artist committed to social issues like gender equality and women's rights - her art is more than just visuals, it's a tool for change and dialogue. Her goal is to use art to start conversations, raise awareness, and make a meaningful impact.
