KitchenAid Stainless Steel Odor Absorbing Splatter Screen

Absolutely love this KitchenAid splatter screen, its the perfect size for even my biggest pans. Ive been using it on my electric skillet recently and its been working like a dream, no more getting burned by bacon grease and the odor absorption power really comes in handy when cooking onions.

I love that this fits over even our largest skillet pan. It worked very well for cooking bacon to keep the splatters in. It seems to have several layers of the mesh, which is handy for splatters. However, this does make me a little nervous that I'm keeping it as clean as I would like.

We like to make fajitas and with our crappy kitchen ventilation system, the smell of peppers and onions lingers for days. I appreciated this large thick splatter screen as it helped reduce some of the smoke and oil splatter on my clothes and cooking service. It's a great size to fit a variety of pans. I knocked off one star because while I like not dealing with another handle, I do feel like the knob gets hot and requires an oven mitt to remove. Plus on a smaller pan, it seems to be slightly imbalanced based on the depth of the lip and where it sits on the pan handle. Overall, does what I need it do and seems to be holding up!

I really impressed with this. I wasn’t sure if it actually worked, but I decided to give it a try and it eliminated the splatter and it did help with the smell as well. It was also really easy to hand clean and it dried pretty quick.

I really like this KitchenAid splatter screen! It is super easy to use & is lightweight. It’s also easy to wash and it comes with a handy knob/handle on top of the splatter screen/lid. It is tightly woven so small splatters are kept inside nicely. Overall, I feel that this splatter screen is very well made, durable and performs well. I highly recommend it!

This is a heavy-duty frying pan splatter screen with a fine mesh that should prevent almost all splashes or oil splatter. It has a sturdy and durable feel, and seems like it will last longer than a thinner, flimsy lid.

This lid splatter cover works amazing. I used it with my bacon, afterwards there was no grease splatter and it also held the smell in. It was so nice to not have a greasy mess to clean up. This is well worth the money!

This splatter guard works for all sizes of pans, even the larger ones which is great. The thick mesh contains smells you don’t want to linger while also containing splatter from hitting the stove and making messes, but let’s enough moisture out with foods you don’t want to get “soggy”. It’s nice because you can wash it right in the dishwasher and is durable, a great product.

Great size to cover most standard and even larger skillets and pots. Nice handle size to easily maneuver however do use pot holders as it gets hot. Eliminates any splatter mess making clean up so much easier.

I have been needing an order absorbing lid for forever and Kitchen aid utensils never disappoint. This cover is the perfect size for almost any pan. It’s lightweight and great quality. The handle does get hot if it’s on for a long period of time, but not really a big deal. Still recommend.

Wow, this really does minimize the splatter when cooking in a skillet! The messiest cooking I do is cooking salmon in the skillet with oil, and I typically get oil splatter all over the stovetop/counter/floor. Using the splatter screen really blocks the splatter, and I only get a little from when I open it to flip the fish. I'm not sure if it reduces odor but it really reduces/blocks splatter. I should have bought one of these a long time ago!

Excellent splash guard. It is well made and the screen is so thick and durable. I am really impressed with the quality and it is big enough to cover most cooking pans. When I put my hand behind the screen of the lid you can barely see it showing you how thick the lid is.
