Q: Can us baby fine, thin hair girlies use this? Or will it be too weighty with all the oils?
submitted by Helen S - 2 months ago
A: Yes, fine and thin hair girlies, this one's actually made with you in mind! It's best suited for fine to medium hair types, and the castor oil, squalane, and coconut oil blend is formulated to be sheer and non-greasy so it won't weigh strands down or leave that flat, oily look. The trick is starting small: rub a dime-sized amount between your palms and work it through damp hair from mid-lengths to ends. You can always add a touch more if you need it, but a little goes a long way on finer strands.

A: I have thin hair and it's really wavy I used a little bit and my hair looks greasy. I mean all I can say is try it out for yourself and if you don't like it return it.
submitted byPickyShoeAddict01 - 2 months ago
Q: Is this scented? If so, what does it smell like? I purchased the Argan Oil Heat Protectant and Argan Milk Leave-in Conditioner and returned both due to the overly-strong fragrance. I don’t want to waste my time and money if this has the same scent.
submitted by Alest - 3 months ago
A: It says it's sugar amber scented but I used it for the first time today And it really doesn't smell like anything I mean it just smells clean nothing else.
submitted byPickyShoeAddict01 - 2 months ago
A: The Air Dry Cream is scented. Its fragrance is Sugared Amber — soft, warm, and lightly sweet. It’s a different scent from the Argan Oil Heat Protectant and the Argan Milk Leave‑In, so it won’t match those fragrances.

Q: Can this be used on very short curly hair?
submitted by JG - 18 days ago
A: Yes! It's especially great for wavy (2a-c), curly (3a-c), and kinky/coily (4a-c) hair types looking to enhance natural texture, and hair length doesn't change that. For very short hair, just use a smaller amount (start with a pea to dime size rather than a full dime). Rub it between your palms and scrunch it in from roots to ends to enhance your curl pattern without weighing shorter strands down.

Q: I have fine textured hair but a lot of it would this be to heavy for my hair
submitted by Mariab - 1 month ago
A: Air Dry Cream is lightweight and non‑greasy, so it works well on fine to medium textures without weighing strands down. Since your hair is fine but very dense, you may just need a bit more product to get even coverage. Start with a dime to nickel-sized amount through mid-lengths and ends, then add a touch more only if needed—avoid the roots to keep things airy.

Q: After using Kitsch Air Dry Cream and Leave in COnditionor my hair looks awesome tonight. If i wanted to get the same look tomorrow do I spray on water and add more cream?
submitted by shellvic - 2 months ago
A: Lightly mist your hair with water so it’s just damp, then add a small amount of Air Dry Cream through the mid‑lengths and ends. That’s usually enough to bring the texture back. You only need more leave‑in if your ends feel dry. Start with a little and build if you need it.

Q: can you still style you hair after you use the cream with a curling iron? {bangs}
submitted by Jeannie - 4 months ago
A: Yes! Just layer a heat protectant over the Air Dry Cream before you curl — our Priming Heat Protectant & Styling Spray pairs perfectly with it.

Q: How much Product do I use on Long (just past my butt) curly hair?
submitted by DarciBlueyzz - 4 months ago
A: For very long curls, you can start with about a quarter‑sized amount, then add more as needed. Work it through damp hair in sections so everything gets even coverage.

Q: Could this be used to add definition and shine for a pixie cut?
submitted by CND - 5 months ago
A: Yes, it can. The Air Dry Cream adds light definition and a soft, natural shine that works well on a pixie without weighing it down.

Q: Do you put on wet hair then don’t blow dry
submitted by Sky - 5 months ago
A: You can use it on damp or dry hair and let it air dry, no blow‑drying needed. Warm a small amount in your palms and work it through mid‑lengths to ends, adding more only if needed. For curls or waves, scrunch or finger‑coil to define.
Pro tip: Layer it over the Kitsch Moisturizing Argan Milk Leave‑In for extra hydration.

Q: Would this work for permed hair?
submitted by Lakechic39 - 6 months ago
A: Choose the Air Dry Cream if: Your perm resulted in visible waves, loops, or ringlets (fitting that 2A–3C category). This cream is specifically formulated to give those curls the "grip" and definition they need to stay clumped together and frizz-free as they air dry.
Choose the Leave-In Conditioner if: Your perm was a "body wave" or a treatment meant to add volume rather than distinct curls. If your hair still looks relatively straight but has more texture and needs hydration, the Leave-In Conditioner will provide the moisture your chemically treated hair craves without weighing it down.
This air dry cream has garnered mixed feedback from guests, with many praising its ability to reduce frizz and enhance curl definition. Guests appreciate its lightweight feel and pleasant scent, making it a go-to for effortless styling. However, some have experienced issues with stickiness and heaviness, particularly with certain hair types. Overall, it shows promise for those seeking a product to manage frizz and define waves without the need for heat styling.

Not worth the hype
I thought it was just me but after reading some of the other reviews I agree this product is overhyped. I tried using it several times.. when hair was really damp, a little less damp, almost dry.. only used a little bit like the directions say and each time by hair felt more frizzy and dry and it left a heavy waxy feeling. It also smells like a citronella candle. Also felt like it was hard to fully wash it out of my hair even with clarifying shampoo. I would pass on this.

Adds frizz
Made my hair more frizzy. Moved somewhere more humid and saw a lot of videos of people saying this is the best. Not only is my hair way more frizzy when I use it, but the product is so sticky and doesn’t sit in the hair well at all. I’m so disappointed. Don’t get fooled like me

Next time buy from the store
Store didn’t know when they were going to get this product. I ordered it off of target.com because it said that I would have it by August 15. I got an update with the shipping information saying it was going to be delivered August 14. Now I got a notification saying due to whether it’s not going to be delivered until August 17. What weather!

Worked wonderfully on my step daughters thick “poofy” wavy hair. It wasn’t poofy and just nice waves this morning after sleeping with it wet.

Dont buy this if you dont have extremely curly hair
I purchased this thinking it would make my waves have more definition and bounce. Instead, it just maid my hair super dry, hard to untangle, and it felt super gross. It defined some waves but for the most part, it made my hair feel dirty and frizzy. I don’t recommend this product at all and it’s unnecessarily overpriced. Not sure if this product doesn’t work with my hair type coming from a 1C.

This product is way overpriced and overrated. It weighs my hair down and makes it look oily and very greasy. The shampoo and conditioner on the other hand are absolutely amazing.
