While it doesn't specifically offer hold, we know many of our curly/wavy friends who have loved using this product. If you are looking for hold specifically we might recommend our Volumizing Foam or Flex Hair Gel.

Q: Why am I getting white flakes on my hair when using this product. I have used the Odele leave in conditioner and have not had this problem so I know it’s this product. I have also seen other consumers have the same issue. Why is this happening?

Q: Does this have heat protectent? I like to air dry my hair but the next day may want to use a curling iron.

A: It certainly will not hurt as it is moisturizing; but I would recommend the Leave-In Detangling Tonic (which also has heat protectant) or Leave-In Conditioner for the ultimate smooth texture post blow dry.

The description on the bottle claims that this styler contains 100% natural fragrance. However, the fragrance smells like the ozone-unfriendly hairsprays of the 1980s. I'm guessing other ingredients are contributing to this horrible smell. This product triggered my allergies, so I had to wash it out of my hair after a short period. In addition, the consistency felt like a weak gel, which did basically nothing to tame my extra fine, wavy hair. I did not experience any moisture as advertised.

I like the product because it does what it's says but when I use it, it leaves these white fuzz on my hair. It almost looks like dust. Since I have black hair you can really see it and it's really hard to get off.

Unfortunately, my hair may be too chemically / heat damaged to get the full benefits of Air Dry Styler. Full marks for softness but I still had an extreme case of the 'frizzies'. Not due to the failing of Flex Gel. I've yet to find the product that can fully contain my frizz without involving heated tools but thought I'd give air-drying a shot. . .

Thanks for sharing. It sounds like you put this product in when your hair was a little to wet, so it was not able to dry correctly. We recommend giving it another try once your hair is a little more dry. If that doesn't work, be sure to let us know!

Huge disappointment. My curls were coiling, as they tend to do when I air dry. I put this product on and it all went straight! My hair looks good, but this stuff did less than zero for my curls bc it actually *removed* the ones that were coming through. I tried it three different times with varying degrees of dampness to my hair, and I got the same "straight as a board" results each time.

This stuff holds my wave in without the crunch of a gel and keeps frizz away and makes my hair so soft. I absolutely live this product. I don't like to spend a lot of time on my hair and this product helps me keep my routine simple.
