I made a mistake when I bought these rugs. The backing is stated to be nonslip, but that’s not true. I should’ve gotten latex-backed rugs. I have tried to remediate the situation and found the rugs sort of stay in place with rug tape, however, the tape wears out and if I want to launder the rugs I need to replace the tape; I did not find proper application of rug tape to be a trivial task. On top of this, I purchased tape online that is not satisfactory, as it would leave an adhesive residue on my floor. So the tape will be a hassle for as long as I keep these rugs. I don’t find them very attractive, either, rven when they were clean and new the blue looks faded and is indistinguishable from dull green or grey. I am looking to replace these and I have not had them for a full year.
