One of my favorite bourbons. Sweet and smooth, with just the right amount of burn. While I’m usually a generous person, I must admit that I keep this one all to myself

If you’re looking for a good whiskey for a decent value then look no further. It has a full bodied vanilla, caramel taste with a brown sugar/oak scent. This is a great old fashioned whiskey and even a sipping whiskey.

the single barrel makes a great highball. it is also really great served straight with a single ice cube. after opening my most recent bottle of knob creek 9 a few times, the plastic cap that was glued to the plug broke off. I needed to use channel lock pliers to remove the plug and reopen the bottle. The plug was very hard to remove. seems like the plug was to big for the opening causing excess force needed to open the bottle.

Thank you for your review! To give some background, we recently changed the waxing process of Knob Creek within the past few years. Our previous wax can still be found at the retail level, as well as our newly waxed bottles. The previous wax could be brittle and crumbly, while our new formula is firm and smooth. Additionally, the pull tape configuration on the bottle has changed directions with the new process. When opening a bottle of Knob Creek with the previous wax, you would pull the tab clockwise around the bottle to open. With the newly formulated wax closures, you must pull the tab counterclockwise around the bottle to open. Pulling the tab the opposite way could result in breakage or difficulty in opening. We hope this helps!
I enjoy drinking this whiskey very much.

The other day, I watched Breaking Bad, and in one scene, I noticed that Hank (one of the main characters) and Walter (the protagonist) were drinking this whiskey. As soon as the episode ended, I ordered Knob Creek. The next day, it arrived, and that night, I drank Knob Creek while, of course, watching Breaking Bad. It tastes so good, and maybe I drank too much. You won't regret buying this whiskey, as far as I'm concerned.

I wanted to recycle the bottle, but the wax was stuck onto the glass. Rather than spend 30 minutes trying to scrape off wax with a kitchen knife, I tossed it in the trash. Please make easier to recycle! My husband likes your Bourbon, so I'm not worried about the quality of your product - just the packaging.

i haerd of knob creek for quite sometime from Slb youtube channel but it's quite hard to find in thailand especially the 9yo. i had it in dubai and i found that it's sweet, smooth with hint of spice, and long satisfying after taste. it's the first whisky/bourbon that makes me truly want to drink again and again and again.

A Bourbon reminiscent of the French market

When I lived in New Orleans, it was fun to be a tourist in my own town. A stroll downriver through the edge of the French Quarter taking in the wafts of fresh beignets, roasted pecans, and creamy pralines was a Sensory treat. Putting my nose in this glass of Knob Creek 9 year instantly took me down memory lane, or North Peters Street as it were. On the palate the slight sweetness is countered by time spent in barrel, an undertone of cinnamon and nutmeg and a pleasing warmth from the ABV. There's a more earthy and nutty element here as well. In this case age makes all the difference, mellowing out the exuberance of younger bourbon, a characteristic that rarely strikes my fancy. I'd happily pair this neat with a back yard fire and s'mores in Midcity or a steamy evening spent on a balcony overlooking a courtyard on Governor Nichols and Royal, y'heard me?

I'm not a Bourbon Snob, I do like trying many kinds & brands of bourbons. Some bottles come & go over time, but a standard Knob Creek 9yr will forever have a permanent spot on my shelf

I love knob creek. it's my favorite bourbon. however, i have a knob creek 1.75 pourer and the new bottles do not fit in it. i wish they would go back to the old bottle or come out with a pourer that fits the new bottle.

When I started checking out whiskys(bourbon) many years ago i am very happy i tried this, while 2-3 times a year i add something to the mix as a optional change up i have always stayed with the knob(not the easiest name to deal with in the early days when we had to search for it). to this day there is still the joy of opening a new bottle & that opening sniff(try this its extremely pleasant if you love bourbon) ahhhh..nothing quite like that.(initial opening) i blend with ice(2-4 cubes depending on size of cube) & unfortunately, most of it at home is out of a bullitt bourbon glass(4)(this is a great bourbon glass-note also have knob creek glass)

Believe it or not, the first time that i actually heard about and saw knob creek bourbon whiskey was actually because it was breaking bad's dea agent hank schrader's favorite whiskey. i thought that i had to give it a try, so i did, and it was amazing! since then, i have tried many other bourbons and whiskeys, and none have even compared to knob creek. based on price, proof, alcohol content, taste, and smell, this is a fantastic whiskey, and i highly recommend this to everyone!

knob creek will be back home at my stable. I only buy age statement whiskey 90 proof or higher and drink it straight. The age statement guarantees what is in the bottle, the aging softens the bite and enhances the flavor. The higher proof brings out the full flavor profile of the whiskey. Knob creek 9yr is excellent straight or over a couple cubes of ice. A great every day corn dominant whiskey to compliment my rye and wheated favorites.
