Wonderfully filling breakfast
I’ve always hated how sweet other packets of oatmeal are. This is the best instant oatmeal ever (could actually be less sweet for me). I love the amount of protein I’m getting in the morning. You can add a little extra liquid after the chia seeds have expanded, but I don’t because I like the heartiness of it. Great flavor and good for you.

Good flavor. Bad texture.
The flavor was good but the texture was weird. It seems like it does not cook fully no matter how much I adjust it. It has potential to be great if they would adjust it slightly to cook better.

It refuses to cook all the way. Also the flavor is like somebody whispered it in the next room. So you got tough oats that you have to microwave that are just sweet and vaguely flavored. It costs too much to taste this way

I've never seen any other oatmeal packet use rolled oats instead of instant, rolled oats aren't gonna cook like quick oats in a microwave, the taste was fine but the texture is awful, maybe if you cooked it on the stove it would be alright but that defeats the point of instant oatmeal packets.

Bad texture- another reviewer said "oatmeal soup"-- yes, and in a bad way! Even after cooking longer and longer, it never "cooked" the oats. overall just icky in texture and taste. Guess I'll stick to my protein powders.

As a latchkey kid who often just had oatmeal for dinner, I like to think of myself as an instant oatmeal connoisseur. My kids love oatmeal, but as we're often rushing in the morning, I wanted an option that was not only quick, but would give them some extra protein for satiety and energy for learning. Unfortunately, what I ended up with after following the instructions was an undercooked chalky white mess. No amount of boiling water could save it.
