This classic flavor and brand combine to enter the sports market with this line of hydration products and I'm not mad about it. The packaging is retro Kool-Aid on the outside, convenient single serving hydration powders on the inside. The instructions recommend mixing each packet with 12 ounces of water but for me that was a bit on the concentrated side. This grape packed a punch! For hydrating after a workout, it did the trick. And the flavor was pure purple childhood nostalgia.

Low cal/great taste

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love that this has no artificial dyes and 4 electrolytes as an alternate to regular kool aid. Tastes just like the regular grape flavor- recommended to add to 16 oz of water but I had to add more water as it was too sweet for my taste but my kids loved it! No odd after taste. One star removed as the packet required scissors to open though it was just likely a defect in the package I had, the small perforation was missing to tear easily from all packages in the box

The dilution of the packet is spot on and requires no preparation and the dissolution is perfect. You open and pour in your drink. Shake or stir and that’s it. It has no texture when fully mixed as well.
