The curls didn’t stay at all. Went down within minutes and I had trouble figuring out how to adjust the temp.

I LOVE this curling iron. I can’t believe all the negative reviews- its purpose was not for creating lots of tight curls in your hair. The goal with this beautiful styling tool is to create a nice “blow-out” style in your hair (the kind you get when you make a hair appointment with a stylist at the salon). This 2” styling tool is definitely one of my absolute can’t live without favorites!!!!!

I have long straight hair. The curler should be longer. Its too short my hair kept slipping out. My hair didnt curl at all. Not worth the money for me.

The clamp is very small compared to the barrel and it leaves lots of lines. Smells horrible. Will try again. Maybe I need to get the hang of it but so far..an expensive piece of crap.

I was very hesitant to buy due to low star ratings and comments, BUT it does exactly what I wanted it for…large soft waves. I have long hair (just past my chest) that holds a curl pretty well, so maybe that makes a difference. As long as you know what a 2 inch iron will do, I think it’s great!

I like the size of this iron and the loose curls, but the angle at the bottom of the top plate means my long hair slides out as I move the iron down to curl. I need to do it in a few steps and it's not a deal-breaker, but it's definitely annoying. It would keep me from recommending it, but I don't want to deal with returning or replacing it, so I'll keep using it.

Doesn’t hold a curl on my hair so I returned it.

Didn’t curl my hair! I’m in shock that a curling iron didn’t give ANY curl. This is going back. I didn’t believe the other reviews that said this too.

Horrible. Leaves an awful smell, burnt plastic in my hair for days. Leaves lines from the barrel. Heat control isn’t correct at all.

Horrible!! This is an expensive curling iron and all it does is put dents in your hair!! Very disappointed with this iron. Returning ASAP!!

I wanted to love this SO bad, I got this twice for Christmas from two different people… however, it didn’t even put a soft bend, wave, or anything in my hair!😩 I was honestly so disappointed. I curl my hair on the regular and did NOT expect curls from this of course (after doing much research) but soft waves as advertised. Initially, the waves were soft and so pretty but they fell almost immediately. I sprayed my hair prior to curling, set the curls in curlers to cool, and sprayed them after and they all still fell in a matter of 5 minutes. So sad. I wish I had pictures.

Coming out with the best curls! Paired with any and all heat protectant, my hair stays fierce all throughout the day! I love that way the tool handles in my my hand, hefty but very easy to handle and spin for the complete curl.

I don't think I've quite gotten the hang of this curling iron yet, but I've only used it a handful of times, so I haven't had a lot of practice. The name of the iron is correct - this puts a soft bend in your hair rather than curls. I wouldn't use this curling iron with a bob because I think you'd end up with something a little mushroom-y, but I have collarbone-length hair currently, and it gives me a little "oomph" without looking overly curled. Like Kristin Ess' other tools, this one clamps nice and strong but not too tightly, so you can have the confidence that you're actually getting your hair in there. There are also variable heat settings which is always appreciated, and the thumb press on the clamp is slightly indented which I believe makes for easier use and shows true care in my opinion. Don't buy this curling iron if you want true curls, but if you want something that looks effortless and bouncier than your normal hair, this is a good one.

I can’t believe all these low reviews! I LOVE this curling iron and use it almost daily. The large size of this iron is for giving a soft bend to the hair, NOT necessarily for giving a full curl. I am not so skilled in giving myself a bouncy blowout with a hairdryer and round brush so I use this iron to mimic one and it works fabulously! I rough dry my hair, section it off, and curl each section under as if I were rolling it up in a curler. It gives me full, bouncy hair like I just had a professional blowout. It looks like I spent way more time on my hair than I did. I get compliments all the time on the look and I don’t want to be without it!!

No curls at all. Left my hair smelly for a few days even after showering a few times.

I have fine, straight hair and this made my hair look greasy! I had just showered and blow dried my hair before using it - my hair was not greasy prior to using the curling iron and I didn’t have any product in my hair. It’s a big no from me!

which i could give this -1, worse curling iron ever. curls do not hold. my hair is able to hold a curl and last for hours with and without hairspray. i tried both and even tried 2 day hair. so pricy only for it to suck. will be returning.

Didn’t curl my hair at all - it straightened it and left kinks. Two other people tried the curling iron (thought it may be user error) but it didn’t curl their hair either.
