This is my first curling wand and its "where have you been my whole life"! This starter pack is all you really need, temp control, removeable attachments and perfect fit for your hand. So easy to use and safe.

Very cheaply made, no matter the temp the curling iron and straightener attachment leaves indents. The straightener attachment rips out your hair and leaves the worst indents. Unfortunately I opened the package and didn’t use it for awhile and now I can’t return it.

My fine hair held a curl for days with this. Unfortunately, the spring was to strong for me.

I love this curling iron. I have naturally tight spiral curls and I use this to turn my super curly hair in to big soft curls and waves Love that I can mix and match and get just the attachments I need and none of the ones I don’t.

I like the idea and the attachments, but I'm not sure if the locking part will last.

I used the curler twice and loved the outcome because of the beautiful curls. Now, The curlers turn on but do not get hot.

Worked once and then the pink attachment stopped working.

I’m giving this two stars because the base + the waver attachment (no included) work ok but let me tell you, this curling iron is awful. I bought this because I was interested in trying the waver and figured for the cost, why not get a new curling iron and waver for less than the price of other wavers. Well, you get what you pay for unfortunately. The iron is trash. It reminds me of the old school curling irons from the 90s. There’s no slip, the grip is too tight, and the barrel is way too short (and I have medium length hair). Hair feels stuck or like it’s dragging as you move the iron and even with heat protectant, this can’t be good for your hair. I’m returning both and picking up a better waver instead.

Honestly, I've never owned a standard curling iron. I was so happy when this system came out because I could try it and see how it worked for me. The curls came out great, and I was blown away with how effortless the look was to pull together. The interchangeable system makes this a one tool for all needs. It's affordable and such good quality. The temperature feels even and consistent through out the iron. The locking set up for the attachments is a game changer. Way to go Conair!

I absolutely love how innovative this product is in that you can swap out the tools and have a bunch of different styling options. I also enjoyed that the starter kit came with this specific curling iron because this turned out to be the perfect size curler for my hair! It's very effective in creating strong hold curls and I love how easy it was to use. The actual base of the starter kit is the perfect size as well so its easy to hold and also very easy to swap the different tools in and out. I really enjoy how small each piece is so its easy to store and also easy to travel with when you separate each piece. This has definitely gone with me on many weekend trips/time away from home as I love how many hair styling options I have! This is an essential, and so well priced!

The Conair Style Chemistry Starter Kit with the Power Handle and Curling Iron attachment is an excellent option for those seeking to upgrade their hair tool experience. I appreciate that, along with the other attachments, like a beach waver and a flat iron, the price of a device with multiple functionalities is so affordable. The curling iron attachment did an excellent job of curling my hair, and the speed at which the power handle was able to heat the attachment astounded me. Both the wand and iron attachments took under two minutes to heat up before they were entirely ready. My only issue with the starter kit and attachments is their size. The barrel of the curling iron is super short and could barely contain my medium chest-length hair. However, the device's efficiency partially made up for the time consumed separating my hair into smaller sections. I do recommend it, even for those with medium-length to long hair! Surprisingly, unlike the flat iron attachment, the curling iron stayed on pretty well, and even as I curled it around the entire length of my hair, it didn't dislodge from the power handle. Overall, for efficiency and price, even at the expense of sectioning, I would give this product a 5/5.

As a beauty professional I have tried all kinds of products and tools- conair is a brand that has been around forever and I can tell with some of their latest innovations they’re working on keeping up with some of the big names and high ticket price items on everyone’s lists. The Conair Style chemistry line is definitely more of a traditional line of products- what is fun and unique about it is the interchangeable heads and one single base. This can be useful for people who have little space or travel often. The only design flaw I noticed was the shorter than I prefer power cord. The base set comes with a standard curling iron 1” diameter. The wand did what it should and was lightweight and easy to use. As with any heat tool be careful of your fingers, ears and always wear a heat protectant on your hair. I do want to note as well this base does have a heat control which is nice to cater to fine, damaged or course hair types.

This Conair Style Chemistry starter set is really cool. I love the idea of being able to have several hair tool options this way as it’s such a huge space saver. It’s also just plain cute with the bright pink barrel. The iron heats up to temp SO fast; I was blown away actually. The one-button control isn’t immediately user friendly so I do suggest reading the directions for that part specifically. The changing of the tools is pretty self explanatory, though. I found it to be quite easy, even after a tool was heated, to grab the gray tip and pull it off if I wanted to change to some other attachment. The locking mechanism, although a little difficult, wasn’t hard to operate and make sure each attachment was properly locked into place. I would have appreciated a wider lock just given its position on the handle itself. The curling iron itself, I have a few complaints about. First, it’s fairly short so it took some finessing to whole length of my hair onto it. For reference, my hair is just below mid back length, so I generally go for a longer barrel to accommodate it. There also is not even pressure across the length of the clip. It’s extremely tight towards the top, but quite loose at the base which resulted in the ends of my hair falling out quite often. For anyone with shorter hair, this should function perfectly! Overall, I think it’s an awesome hair tool. I love the swivel cord and the added Velcro strap on the cord for storage, too. I probably won’t be reaching for it often just because it’s not ideal for my hair length; however, that doesn’t change all its great qualities. It’ll just be a tool for when I’m in my shorter hair seasons!

The base has a digital screen that helps you monitor the temperature of your iron and reaches a maximum temperature of 400 degrees. The one inch curling iron barrel effortlessly attaches and detaches making switching to other available options a sinch and also making storing a much easier task. The iron creates beautiful professional looking curls that last all day. I like the extra safety feature of a rubber grip at the tip of the iron that helps prevent burns to the fingers and neck while in use. I did try multiple of the assorted attachments for my power handle all of which I loved and found so easy to use! I want to have them all!
