Krups Cool Touch kettle with Heat Protection

Very nice. Works well. The water cools off very fast after it is poured out. Otherwise very nice product.

I use this religously as my go to kettle to boil everything ! I loved that its leading feature is cool to touch, not that I go arounfd feeling pots to see if its hot. Well all it took was once to reach across the side not the top where steam comes out but across the side to get something and the metal spout touched my wrist and left my wrist with first and second degree burns so deep the hospitals sent me to the burn center for help! DO NOT USE THIS Thats all I can say. I am not accident prone nor have I ever had anything happen like this. just not worth it!!! KRUPS CHANGE THE DESIGN HAVE PLASTIC OVER THE SPOUT AS WELL PUT NOTES SAYING THE SPOUT IS THE ONLY THING THAT HOLDS THE HEAT ON THIS KETTLE EVEN THOUGH IT SAYS COOL TO TOUCH DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN TO OTHER PEOPLE *I will spare the gruesome photos,you get the point

I was looking for an electric kettle with stainless steel interior, hidden heated element, no glass/plastic "viewing" windows and for the boiled water not to taste like metal! After a frustratingly extensive search, I finally came across this quick boiler! Exterior of the kettle and top of the lid is plastic, but interior walls and lid are stainless steel! The only plastic/sillicone piece inside seems to be holding the handle mounted, but even so I'm not sure how far in the lid goes when snaps into place so it may or may not cover the plastic piece. TIP FOR MANUFACTURER: The only improvement to this kettle would be to make exterior fully stainless steel (including lid). If you boil a full pot of water, the steam coming out touches exterior plastic and the steam smells like melted plastic.

As an avid tea drinker the kettle is used every day. It looks fantastic and sleek in all black. No window to check water level but adds to the desired look. The top when it opens is firm so feels like a quality build. The only downfalls (really minimal) is the spout should be a little narrower to prevent a quick spilling fast flow and the light up lever could look a little more polished. Kettle does what it says - the sides are cool and will not burn to touch. Time is fast for heat up and keep warm for a reasonable amount of time. Overall, liked the kettle and would purchase if needed.

When I receive this cattle in the mail, I was pleasantly surprised at the design. It looks very sleek and match the decor in my kitchen perfectly. Not only does it look good, it works great also. Water heater quickly and stays warm for hours

I love this kettle. I'm not too much into technology and this item doesn't have 1200 buttons to operate. The cord is easy to hide and put away.

This KRUPS Cool Touch Kettle surpassed my expectations. It's a kettle. It heats water. What impresses me is that it is really fast, and the outside really doesn't get hot. I mean, the water is boiling hot by the time my toast is cooked, and the outside of the kettle is fine. With little kids running around, this is a safety solution I appreciate. This item is new to me, and I didn't know it existed until I tried it out. I would absolutely purchase this kettle again and give it as a gift.

What I liked best about this product is I didn't have to babysit it. I plug it in and I can walk away. It also shuts itself off when it's empty. It has a Sleek design with a huge window for easy reference when you're pouring the water and I especially likes that you can unplug the power cord from the unit itself.

I am in love with this Krups water kettle,boils water very fast,very easy to hold,very easy to operate and also very easy to clean.It has a cool touch heat protection,safe to touch external layer.Perfect for me and my family.I use this daily for my instant coffee,tea and oatmeal.I really like that this kettle doesn't use plastic inside, it has100% stainless steel inner bowl which is safe for me and my family.I and my family really enjoy this beautiful kettle.I will highly recommended this kettle to everyone.

I have to say this kettle is really amazing! It heated my water to boiling in mere minutes and the outside really did stay cool to the touch. The one feature that I love even more than the fast boiling is the auto shut off. The second my water started boiling the kettle turned off. This is wonderful if you need to run upstairs or simply forget about it, no need to worry about water boiling over and possible fires!

I absolutely LOVE this kettle. My husband and I are nightly tea drinkers, and I have never in my life had anything like this. I didn't even know this existed before now. I have always just heated my water on the stove with a traditional kettle. The KRUPS Cool Touch Kettle is a total game-changer!

I really liked the Krups Cool Touch kettle. The cool touch feature is really awesome because you don't have to worry about anyone getting burned! I loved the black with stainless steel interior and the convenience of auto shut off. The one thing that I would have liked to see, was a little window to show how much water was left in the kettle. Other than that, I loved it!

I love the fact that the kettle heats up so quickly and is still cool to the touch. The automatic shut off feature is amazing. I don't like to put a lot of things on my counter tops but the design is sleek. There is no indicator for water level but I think the other features outweigh this detail.

My wife and I love French press coffee and teas. This electric kettle is easy to use and provides 1.5 liters of boiled water in about a minute! The outer shell remains cool, the inside is all stainless steel (thus no plastic taste). This saves prep time for coffee/ tea in the morning before work.

It's been a while since I've used an electric kettle. I had a cheap one in college (since it was one of the only appliances allowed in the dorms) and loved it because it heated my water quickly, but by and by it got lost. So using an electric kettle again has been a great delight.

My new Black KRUPS BW260850 Electric Kettle works fantastic. The water stays hot for a full 30 minutes and yet it stays very cool to the touch. It also has an automatic shut-off switch so I left the house several times without being worried if I turned it off. I previously had a different brand of electric kettle and I always had to double check it to make sure it was not still on...even turning around while on the way to work to return home because I thought I had left it on. This kettle is great for making tea, instant coffee, soup and hot cereals such as oatmeal. You can prepare both something fast to eat and drink even at times when you don't feel like cooking. It also allows you to make hot drinks for visitors who possibly drop by your house as company. I actually plan to purchase two more of them as gifts for friends and family. One of them travels often for work and the other person is away at college so this kettle will make an excellent birthday present for them. Therefore, I highly recommend this KRUPS Electric Kettle for anyone seeking a convenient way to make a hot breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack or beverages!

The Krupp's cool to the touch hot water kettle is a great addition to any kitchen. The ease of the product was amazingly easy to use just plug in and it works, with the removable base that stays in place and the ability to tuck the cable to keep it out of the way was fantastic. The best part was that as hot as the water was inside the container was cool to the touch! A great product for a perfect kitchen addition!

I love the Krups hot water kettle. It is by the far the fastest and best quality kettle I have ever owned. It is portable and can be easily taken camping or in a hotel. I would highly recommend if you heat hot water frequently.
