The one thing I don't like is that it doesn't have a swivel anchor to the pup, so it will get twisted during a trip, which means it gets shorter and shorter as the trip goes on. I do like that it hooks to the seatbelt spot since he is heavy enough to trigger being a "passenger" and it turns the airbag warning off. Keeps him safe if I need to stop short and he can't hop out of the window after crazy squirrels!

This strap clicks right into your seat belt and achieves pet safety when paired with a decent harness. However i found that our large dog gets uncomfortable on longer rides because it restricts movement. Hard to fault that but pets cant understand why they aren't allowed to move around a vehicle! Use it with this in mind

Functions as it should. Clicked in easy to both end seats, couldn’t get it to fit in the middle seat. Has enough length for my dog to be comfortable and safe.

I had purchased this seat belt for my dog, Daisy, Summer of 2024 from a pet store in Jackson Hole, WY. February of 2025, I partially rolled my car due to icy roads in WA. Daisy had her harness and seat belt on in the backseat. She was completely okay. Daisy is a border collie, Australian shepherd mix and she weighs 45 pounds, for reference. I cannot recommend this product enough! Accidents on the road can happen fast, wear your seat belt and get your pet a seat belt too.

It's just a little short, and I'm working on fixing it for my pupper. But it's well made like all their products and it really does keep my furball from putting her muddy paws on the front seat.

The tether works great along w the harness I purchased as well to go w it. My Airedale puppy has enough room to move and look around but is safely secured in the backseat!

I have a couple of these and they work great and are easy to use and adjust. clever idea using existing seat belt quick connection. it makes it east to move from vehicle to vehicle. Strong and well built.

So an actual seatbelt for a car is, you know, so you don’t fly out the car in the event of sudden breaks or crashes. So when I saw this— in person— and read the actual packaging, I was lead to believe that this was a safety item for the dog. And turns out, now that I came across it again, that it is not a safety item for the dog. I can train my dog to not bother me in the car, but I cannot train them to survive a car accident, and that is what I was lead to believe this product was as on no part of the packaging did it say it was not crash tested. And on that note, that makes this pretty useless. I want my dog to not die. That’s why I got this, and this company is using that sentiment to be misleading in their advertising. It does keep the dog where I put them, but they would do that anyway, and I got this so they would be safe. But apparently they’re not safe when using this.

One of the best things about this, is that it stops the seatbelt chime from dinging when your furry friend is sitting in the front seat. It's also perfect for keeping them out of your lap and from trying to climb out a window. For such a low price, I plan to put one in every car.

After on 6 uses the buckle bent and allowed my dog to become unattached during a ride and created a very unsafe situation

Purchased this to bring my sons dogs safely to my place an hour away. Chewed thru belt first day and ruined seatbelt hookup too. Might be great for smaller dogs.

Great product to keep my 40 lbs dog safe in the back seat!

I use it regularly with my medium mixed breed to keep her in the car for a minute while I step out with the door open, or to tether her in on long trips. Used with a good harness, it helps keep my pal safe on long drives.

My front passenger window won't lock - and I gave up on making my youngest dog sit out back - so this has become a priceless safety tool. It lets her open the window all the way and stick her head out without me having to hold her leash to hold her back. Plus when I open my trunk, she can't sneak out that way...and bonus it keeps her from going to the back seat and bothering her two 12 yr old brothers! I took off a star because I do wish it was a bit longer. As it is I have to remember to bring her harness or she can't quite get her head out the window when connected to the collar, other than that it's a great product. THe other improvement would be to add a swivel or some way to prevent it from twisting. My girl likes to walk around in circles and it gets pretty twisted. It can make it really difficult to release her after a road trip so now I make a habit to unclip and untangle periodically through longer road trips.

Keeps our pets from roaming in the car. Also, I have no concerns with putting the windows all the way down now - they love this!

This does the job and is very easy to use. If you have a large dog, though, you'll need something longer. It works well for my ~50lb dog but it can't reach my ~80lb dog's harness.

This worked well at first, until the dog decided to chew it up on a road trip. The dog made short work of it, I had hoped it would hold up better if chewed.

I have a very small car, and struggle to find crash tested kennels that fit in my tiny trunk, HOWEVER, I stumbled across Kurgos seatbelt attachment and fell instantly in love, not only do I have to worry if my dogs are safe in my car or not, but its an easy clip on to their car harnesses, even though I would not choose this product over a crash tested kennel, it is AMAZING for those dog owners who struggle to find said kennel for their tiny cars. HIGHLY recommend.
