Doesn't work consistently
We have one of these at Lowe's and I have succeeded in fixing 3 smartkey locks. The screw kept falling out so I superglued it in. Work again for a bit but now a cylinder is trapped in the cradle and I can't get it out. Hard to impress customers this way.

Quality is questionable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased one of these for use on my new house doors as the old owner lost all keys except front door key. It worked on one cylinder, then the screw holding the spring came loose and will no longer stay in place rendering the cradle completely useless. For the money this should work on more than 1 cylinder.

Kwikset Smartkey cradle fails!
I have purchased two of these cradles and both lasted for less than 10 cylinders before it quit working. As much as I hate, I just take the locks apart and reset them that way. I have no clue to why these cradles fail after limited use at the price they cost.
