[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this LOL Suprise Hair Beads Tot for my 9 year old because she really enjoys playing with her other LOL. She was so excited to open it but that joy didn't last long. I give this a 3 star rating it for a couple of reasons. You have to get her all wet first. That's not the problem. After you do, she becomes very sticky, so the beads stick to her. We had a terrible time trying to get the beads to stick to her. You're supposed to use the tweezers to pick up the beads and put them on her hair. The beads just kept sticking to the tweezers, so we had to use our hands to put the beads on. Our hands became sticky again then. I would highly recommend you do this on top of an old rag because she becomes so sticky and you have to let her dry. It stuck to our old towel so I had to slowly pull her from it. My 9 year did enjoy it some but was frustrated a few times as well. It's a neat idea. So I would suggest this for kids about 8 and older.

The kids yes kids really enjoyed placing the beads and were amazed that they stayed on! I would say an adult to help really speeds it along. My daughter loves her new toy and wants another one to add to her collection.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well the kid lost interest in this pretty quickly. The fact you have to get the beads wet then set them where you want them than leave it to dry, made it pretty boring for her. I don't think we'll be purchasing any of these in the future.

And I love that you can do it over and over again! There are small parts, so make sure your child is old enough to not want to eat the beads!

The idea behind this one is neat- however it was very difficult to get the beads to stay. It is reusable... but sticky. And the beads were not cooperating and slid off a lot.

The design honestly is horrible. The beads do not stick after following the instructions. My daughter enjoyed her doll but once the beads started rolling all over the house due to not sticking she did not want to play with her doll. She was frustrated because the beads do not stick! In order for her to play with it I had to glue the beads down with nail glue. I shouldn’t have to do that. the toy says 4+ my 5 year old did not enjoy the process.

My daughter liked the doll but didn’t like how sticky everything was. I would definitely not pay for this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a super cool toy! When my daughter opened it she didn’t realize it was actually going to get wet and stick the beads onto the doll. Love how different and interactive it is. It was almost like an art project styling the doll’s hair with the beads. It’s very durable once dry and was super fun to open and play with. We love the doll we got and if definitely but again for a gift! Definitely a good doll for the cost!

It’s a fun project. Just wet the doll to activate the adhesive, place beads on the hair and they stick when dry. It’s not perfect, as some of the beads easily fell off after it was dry. The packaging itself is really cute. Great gift idea!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Basically, water makes the plastic hair and the plastic beads temporarily sticky, so they temporarily adhere to each other. The “style” your kiddo chooses will last until everything dries, and then the beds fall off and the plastic hair is just hard and smooth like regular plastic, and the doll can be played with as normal. Hard to play with while the beads and hair are wet and sticky, so that time is more the doll just standing and posing with their cute style

The beads do stick to her hair good and If you want her hair full of beads you need to wait between layers because they will fall off if you try to put them all on at once. Directions are fairly easy to follow, no words, just pictures. Comes with a surprise doll, outfit, hair bead tweezers, spray bottle, pig tails, directions, and a plastic sheet to place the doll on while placing and spraying the beads. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am glad that my daughter got the skater girl because she is considered ‘rare’ . Kids can collect all of them like in most LOL surprise series. The element of surprise is definitely something that made these toys so popular. I like the bead collection because it is not only a doll, it is a craft. Kid gets to dress the doll in her clothes and do the hair. My daughter used a lot of beads and still had some left. You wet the hair and beads and they become sticky. It is a little tricky to get the beads to stay on, but if you let them dry, they stay together and are quite flexible. The doll can be put on a stand and makes a cute decoration or a collectible. It’s unique, just like your child! Definitely for older children, 6 plus and may require help from a parent.
