Fun project
My 5 year old granddaughter LOVES LOL dolls. She saw the ad for the tail maker and couldn’t wait to get one. The video I found on YouTube was great. But the link provided in the package doesn’t go to a video. Would be great if you sold the gel separately for her other dolls.

Just not the best idea, not for kids to actually play with.
Just don’t get it. The tail is a hit or miss on if it actually works and it’s incredibly sticky once removed from cast. The tail went straight in the trash and our sink kept surprising us with leftover goo for weeks, lol I’d rather just buy a different lol doll for the same price.

What the actual french toast?
Like everyone else - the mix never set and the goo is like melted cheese and impossible to clean even off the doll or your hands. It is awful. We shook the bottle mixture for ages and let it sit for 30min, then another 2hrs, then in ice water. Then spent who knows how long cursing while trying to rescue the doll and my hangs from the oily slime. I recommend this product for your enemies.

Tail doesn’t form.
The company has falsely advertised this product. The tail never hardens. It’s the worst product ever. The concept is great but their product testing needs work. They refuse to advertise what the tail ingredients are and how to clean it up. They also refuse to remedy or provide solutions for the tail form issues.

We received this as a gift. After doing the kit, I would 100% only buy this for someone I hate. The instructions aren’t clear, the goo for the mermaid tail gets everywhere and is so gross. It’s a hot mess.

Did not work
I bought this for my daughter’s birthday and she was so excited to try it out. Followed the instructions, but the tail did not set after 30 minutes. We opened up the mould and the tail peeled apart and was still super sticky. Even after 2 hours, it still wasn’t set. It never ended up working! I can’t even return it because we ripped off the plastic label/barcode and threw it away. :(

Instructions are vague!
This company needs to hire someone who can write a step by step instructions. The instructions never once indicated to place the doll legs into the gel while it's curing. Also the scan for video does not take you to a video, only to the written instructions which is poorly written!

No goo
We made it and we were happy with it and when it’ll rip put the suit on and boom still mermaid I dislike the goo so sticky and it makes me want to throw it away but it’s also cool but is a big mess I still love it but only three because ew goo cool but I was like scared to do it but it’s like jello and jellos wobly and it was wobbly so also lil kids can eat the goo so I don’t think it’s safe
