Georgina Lázaro nació en Puerto Rico y es autora y traductora de libros infantiles. Ha escrito más de setenta libros y traducido alrededor de cincuenta, entre los que se incluyen obras de autores como Shel Silverstein, Margarita Engle, Juan Felipe Herrera y Dr. Seuss, de quien ha traducido más de diez libros, incluyendo el famoso The Cat in the Hat.

She has also translated more than ten Dr. Seuss's books, including the well-known The Cat in the Hat.
