Q: The chair looks much darker in one of the styled photos. Is it as light as the photos where it is on it’s own or darker like it is in the room images?

The cushion seat also grey. It’s a beautiful sturdy chair and elegant, but probably too grey to go with my other things...

A: No the cushion is not removable. It has a wooden base and is screwed in to the chair frame. Yes, you could unscrew it to have it re-upholstered, but the cushion is not removable in the usual sense, ie. You can’t flip it over.

A: Great question, I would highly recommend visiting you local Target for clarification on the height of the chair from floor to seat, as the product page does not specify.

Q: I noticed one of the pictures the wood is darker. Is it possible to stain this wood if I want it darker or is it treated with a seal? Is there a darker wood version of this chair?

One was perfect and the other one has a leg that’s too short… too much hassle to send back and as it’s not a chair that will be often used, I’ll keep it for now - maybe I’ll find a workaround soon. Assembly was super easy and quality seems good - if one of them wouldn’t wobble significantly it would be 5 stars

Beautiful chair, firm cushion, more a gray wash than beige, but looks better in person! For the price you can’t beat it. I’ve seen this same chair for more than $500 in other brands. Get this, you won’t regret it!! Took me 25 minutes by myself to put together!

Chairs either arrived dirty or they are manufactured so that the finish looks like dirt or soot built up on the chair. I rubbed the area and I can feel a film on my hands. You can see it collected in the crevices of the caning, the screw holes, and corners of the chair frame. Not sure how this is at all acceptable for a $300 chair. Instead of Target sending a replacement in the off chance both of the chairs I ordered are defective, I have to first lug these big boxes back to target store or to UPS store to return them.

Great quality and good looking chairs! Very stylish and heavy duty. We love them and they work great in our space. They are deceptively large for the noted dimensions. They fit in a tight space but are very roomy to sit in. Easy to put together. My son and I were able to do so. One point of note, dont tighten screws all the way as you go. Leave some slack so you can level and tighten at the end. We bought 2 and the first one wobbled and we had to loosen up screws so we could level the chair. The second one we took a different approach and it was a breeze...

Beautiful chair! Easy to assemble, took about 10 minutes. Light and sturdy. Color is true to picture, if not a little more brown tone. Caneback has multiple color tones woven in through it, fabric seat is light beige with a gray undertone.

I like a white-washed look or a light gray-wash but this gray wash looked really ugly dirty to me. My preference, but others might like? I didn't eve take it out of the box.

These chairs are absolutely perfect. Great quality, comfortable and extremely easy to assemble. The tone of the wood is a light sand, with a slightly distressed look, white detail. Some reviews mentioned a blue tint, which i did notice when removing from the box in a certain light, but once assembled the chair looks one seamless color, you can barely tell it’s ‘distressed’ at all, and definitely not blue. Well worth the money, the aesthetic and quality are very high end.

This definitely has a grey tone to it. It has that washed look. It is very neutral. I love it. You definitely need a throw pillow in the back for comfort if you are short like me. I got two for my house. Both came in great condition. Easy to assemble. These aren't dirt cheap, but they are still cheaper than fancier stores. They have the look of an expensive brand. I'm hoping they last a long time with family wear and tear.
