Lands' End Women's Sport Knit High Rise Corduroy Pants

These pants will be good for winter! I have two pairs of Lands end cords from last year and those did have more cotton in them, but these are just fine. I will have to do a small hem, but that seems to be the way things are these days for petite clothing.

These pants are OK. But the elastic waist is a bit thick & bunchy, and the pockets kind of stick out at each side. (Maybe if I had wider hips the pockets would lie flat, but my hips are not much narrower than the model's, so I think it's a design issue.) A much better design is the LL Bean "perfect fit knit cords", but the problem with the LL Bean pants is that the current fabric is poor quality: it feels & looks great at first, but the knees get baggy after six months. If only we could have the LL Bean design, with the Lands' End quality fabric! (PS if you still want to buy them: Note that they run big. Even after consulting the size chart, I ended up exchanging my S for an XS.)

Disappointing! They didn’t feel like regular corduroy and were so baggy that I could have fit both my legs in one pant leg!

I must have shrunk 4 inches in the past year! I ordered these pants last year in petite as I did with this order but the pants were 4 inches longer.

Runs VERY large. .. in fact, the sizing is wrong. At least, one size bigger than indicated. I have the feeling that Land’s End has an issue with standardized sizing this year, because it’s not the first item order which dos not correspond to standardized sizing. I also bought a cashmere cardigan which was too small and not corresponding to the standardized size.

I have been buying these for years. I have over 20 pair in various shades of fading! Always get a new black pair every season. They are comfortable, long lasting….my go to pant daily. Wish they would go back to the silky pocket lining, less bulk.

They are huge even the extra small is ridiculously big

I bought this style of corduroy pants last year and they were great. this year I bought the same pants in petite because I lost weight. I bought the brown corduroy pants on sale. The item I received is not similar to the item I received last year. The fabric quality was very different. Last year, it was straight, vertical corduroy in a very thick fabric. This year, the fabric was very different. Sometimes the straight line corduroty seemed to be replaced bu fabric unevenness, where sometimes it was almost like a fuzzy fabric instead of corduroy. The texture was very different. The fabric was not as thick and not as warm for the winter. I don't know whether it was this sample or whether there was a change in the fabric this year.

I have bought these stretch corduroy pants several times. These are not the same, they have very thin material and don't feel like corduroy at all. Why weren't these marked as "new" or "updated". I am returning and now have to pay the shipping return cost.Very unfair! I did not try them on but its making me put in details about the fit.

Don't see how one can even pretend to call this corduroy, or "cotton rich." It is thin and flimsy, nowhere near the quality of the sport knit corduroy pants i've purchased over the years. I'll be sending it back. The charcoal is even thinner than the black.

I have been buying these pants for years. This year the change in fabric has made them my “ go to dress pants!” OMGosh they fit perfectly Medium Petite - weight 160#, 5’4”. I’ve worn same size since I first ordered them. If I gain a few pounds, no problem; if I lose a few pounds no problem! I love everything about them ! My only problem was I always wait to order and ivory is always gone - this year I ordered them prior to the sale. Best move I could have made. I may order another pair in ivory for backup and I plan on ordering a few more colors.Thank You L E!!!

The corduroy sport knit has changed to a light weight corduroy. Not as warm as your previous corduroy pants. Very disappointed.

I have worn these pants for years, but the quality has gone down to rock bottom. The fabric has changed - is more like pajamas - and although I ordered a size smaller than usual, it was way too large. Returned.

I've been wearing these for DECADES. THE FIRST THING TO KNOW IS THAT THEY HAVE ALWAYS RUN LARGE AND THEY STILL DO. I recommend sizing down, I've always bought at least once size smaller than I would have thought I needed. Indeed, this year I've already bought 3 pair of these in size Medium, but bought the Starfish jeans in size Large. The "charcoal heather" this year is not a charcoal color, certainly not like years past. Much much lighter, which may be good or bad, depending on what you like. The original version had a narrower waistband elastic (more comfortable to me) & narrower wales, which I liked better. The waistbands have been getting wider & wider elastic, & the originals were trimmer, more sleekly constructed where the pockets are. They're more bulky in this area now. I know because I still have the original pair & many of the pairs I bought thereafter. Happily, I have been losing weight, which means new pants in a smaller size. Not so happy for my pocketbook, but I do get them on sale when I can. They are still very comfy (if you bought the right size), and pretty much all I wear from late Autumn, thru the Winter, and into early Spring, here in southern Wisconsin. Gave them 4 stars, but would be 4.5 stars if I could.

I have several pairs of these and they are perfect for relaxing at home or going out. Very comfortable and just the right size with no hemming necessary.

Not true corduroy. Fabric is more like fleece.

The fit is great! However, the corduroy fabric is too thin to keep me warm in the winter.

These are my basis everyday pants. The fabric seems a little thinner this time. Will keep on buying/wearing them.

I have bought these pants over the years and the fabric changes a little but the big improvement is color-fastness. They're so comfortable and fit so well that I've put up with black fading to grayish or brownness after washing (even inside out in cold water), but the latest ones don't seem to fade at all. Only problem, solved.
