Lands' End Women's Starfish Mid Rise Knit Denim Straight Jeans

Nice fitting Jean in a cool silky feeling denim, good for summer. I love Starfish pants!

While these pants are comfy and look great for a short time, they wear out very quickly. The thighs have shredded to mere fibers. This happened on 2 pair of these Starfish jeans. Won't be buying again. Also note that these run 1 size larger in length and width on the XL petite.

The materials has on oder that washing, drying, and even air drying can’t get rid of.

I love these jeans, but my most recent purchase of three more had a very strong chemical smell (like the "new jeans" smell, but stronger). It can't be washed out, which is very odd. I would also love it if they would bring back the belt loops, which I appreciated.

These are the most comfortable pants. If they came in boot cut I would never wear anything else

I purchased these starfish denim pants before. I prefer the older ones in particular the old fabric was softer and no grommets bring back the prior pants

this is the second pair of these jeans that I've purchased. Initially they fit well but by the 2nd wearing the elastic waist gives out and they fall off! What to do?

I bought my first Starfish mid-rise pull on knit jeans (petite because I have a short rise) years ago when they were a new product and loved them, back when there was the black pair, which I still have (frayed and worn, but beloved). Every time I bought a new pair over the years, expecting the same fit and quality as the first, the jeans had changed: slightly different fabric blend, sewn in a different country, slightly different fit. This latest pair, size L/P, is different yet again ... while I do like the front pockets, I do not like the extra band of fabric that is hot and which must be smoothed over, PLUS the waistband reaches almost up to the bottom of my bra! How is that a mid-rise petite size??? I am keeping them as I can wear them with the waistband folded over, but really, I don't understand why a perfectly perfect product must be messed up as these jeans have been over the years. This absolutely is the last pair I will buy.

Too big, too long and not worth getting altered. Not the quality of the starfish brand

Please go back to the old fabric. This fabric snags and bags after one wearing. Need black jeans again.

My third pair of starfish bluejeans just arrived. The first (old and well worn) pair had only back pockets. When the second pair arrived, I was happy to find well made side and back pockets. The new ones have - zero - pockets! Did someone forget the QC? They are strictly stretch fabric, no denim in sight, but they fit and I can use them for yoga or pilates

petite size is too long and I had to shorten them…( this is a first). otherwise, they fit well and are very comfortable. Have worn them a few times without any “pulls” despite my cat sitting on my lap. Would appreciate it if the petite size was shorter…..

I have several other pairs of Land's End pants that I love. These are unflatteringly baggy and the elastic isn't strong enough to keep them in place. I have worn these just once, at home, and they already have three visible snags.

I really like these jeans. So comfortable and look great. I already bought 2 pairs and will buy more.

This is the 2nd pair of these that I have ordered. I returned the first pair because they were extremely long and I thought maybe they had been sized incorrectly. I decided to try another pair because I have been wearing the OLD style of Starfish jeans for years and years and my several pairs are wearing out. I am keeping this second pair because I need pants, but they are AWFUL. 1. They are way too long, way longer than the old style even though they are the same size. 2. The fabric is very flimsy and the fit is just somehow 'off' in a way I can't describe. They just don't hang correctly. 3. There is a chemical smell that does not want to go away. I have washed them twice, hung them outside on a chair in the sun for two full days, and also laid them out on my lawn in the sun for an entire day. I am wearing these pants right now as I type; I have had them on for about two hours, and the smell is so bad it is unbearable and literally giving me a headache. I cannot recommend these pants and am not sure they are going to be of any use to me. I might be able to wear them outside in the garden and hope the chemical smell eventually dissipates. I am very very disappointed that Lands End has not responded in a positive way to the many, many bad reviews these pants have gotten since they changed the style and fabric. I was really hoping that the pants would be ok if not great, but they are simply awful. Just awful.

Overall I do like these jeans, but wish they had belt loops. After a couple times wearing them they start to get loose;

I bought these jeans in size small and they are way too long. Usually LE gives you a choice between 30 and 31 And these are 31 1/2. I love the soft light weight material they would be perfect for the spring and summer!

Way too long, rise and hem, for a petite size. I returned this pair.
