  • A: I agree, this brand runs small. Even in the dark wash, I usually wear a 4 in all jean brands. I bought a 4 & a 6 because the 4 looked really small. It's a good thing I did because the 4 fit like a 2.

    I have bought several pairs of this in the light-blue wash (now unavailable) and one in the dark blue wash, and then also in black. All same size (4 short), and the blue ones (light and dark) are true denim material without too much stretch. They give a really flattering slimming effect, I always look and feel like I lost 5 pounds when I wear them, but without them being too tight. For some reason, the black one is different material, or so it feels; it is stretchy and becomes bunched up and baggy at the abdomen, looking more like I GAINED weight. I already took off the tags and will wear them for that-time-of-the-month, but otherwise I hate them.

    I used to buy these and loved them but the new proportions are off- I love how it cinches/ sucks in the waist but it’s too tight and then the rest of the jeans from the knee down are baggy- and that was already going up two sizes from my usual. I’m normally a 2 and tried the six. I could maybe try sizing up to 8, but I don’t have a lot of butt and it would be comfortable in the waist but baggy everywhere else. I hope they bring back the old ones because this made me feel so insecure
