Delicious, absolutely delicious! It’s moist and flavorful! I recommend steaming it to get the best results but if you must microwave it then make sure you thaw it a bit so all parts of the filling gets warm. When I mic’d it, there were still parts that were cold. Your bun will be more dry if you microwave but still yummy!

So good! Bread has a good consistency even after being microwaved. Filling has lots of flavor and it only takes a minute to warm up! I feel it is a little pricey but it’s a good treat when I’m able.

The potential is there; the texture of the bun is great and so is the flavor of the meat. Similarly to what a previous review said, the salt is very excessive to where it *almost* ruined the entire thing for me but I was just hungry enough.

These were really salty for me and I have a high tolerance for salt. Also found them very onion-forward in flavor which surprised me when they are so low on the ingredient list. Steamed them and the bun itself was great, ingredients seem good quality, just didn't love the filling.

Sweeter taste than I expected but it was pretty good. The only downside is I wish it came with paper as regular Chinese frozen buns. I forgot to put down paper the second time I steamed and lost pretty much the entire bottom of the bun to the steamer. Also a little pricier than regular buns but appreciate easily available at Target.

As someone who has grown up making dumpling filling with their family, the flavor of this filling reminds me a lot like that. Juicy and moist, with visible pieces of shiitake mushroom and chicken, and a little bit of greens as well two balance everything out. Is it a bao? Not really, the casing isn't really thick enough or fluffy enough. But with filling this good, I'm just going to tell myself that it is a portable handmade dumpling and enjoy eating it. If you have time, these are better if you use the steam method instead of the microwave, but they're just fine out of the microwave too!

It had a lot of flavor and plenty of filling. The bao to filling ratio was great. I ate it both as a snack to go in the car, and also had a couple for a quick meal. I was impressed with this product!
