Very effective on an empty stomach for breakfast but I'd probably eat something else with it for more protein. These bars have good ingredients and aren't super high in sugar so if you like super sweet things these aren't it. I like low sugar options and these bars fit the bill. Plus my name is Lara, can't go wrong with that!

It is the perfect cure to my sweet tooth and tastes great! Even my kids loved the texture and the flavor! Love that I can trust the ingredients and for a well balanced snack for me and my babies!

I think I like this one even more than the one we normally get. My 3 year old approves too. I love that we have a quick easy snack that's vegan with no artificial sweeteners and only 5 ingredients! The cocoa makes it sweet but not overly sweet. They're easy to take on the go and shelf stable which is so convenient.

These bars are a little dry but not gritty like some bars can be. I like some of the other flavors more, but I would definitely still eat these again.

I also love dates and peanuts and cocoa so bam it was perfection for me! The texture is crunchy and you can definitely taste that coca flavor. 5/5 for sure!! 🎉

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not a fan of the taste of these bars, but they are good for hiking. These bars are made with minimal ingredients, the bulk of this particular bar is ground up and baked (?) dates. Even though there are peanuts and cocoa powder, it doesn't taste anything like a chocolate bar, the dates give it a weird, pasty, almost protein bar texture and vaguely sweet flavor. But it is very good for hiking. It's sweet but not sweet enough to spike your blood sugar, extremely dense, so the small bar fits in any pocket and is surprisingly filling, it does not melt, it doesn't have crumbs. And it holds up to smushing. Personally I would stick with the dried fruit flavors, the date and chocolate mix didn't vibe for me at all, and I would still never eat this as a regular snack. But I would buy these again for hikes.

They have an awesome taste without being too bland tasting or overpowering. They are perfect for snacks or lunch replacements when on the go, I personally use them to snack when I’m busy working and don’t have time for a full meal and they are very filling. The packaging has a very appealing orange color and is easy to open so I also toss them in with my kids lunches. Overall these are not only plant based, dairy free, gluten free and vegan friendly, they taste amazing and have a great deal of protein and are nutritious!

The packaging is just a regular granola bar, but I do like the clean ingredients that I recognize. I would feel comfortable giving these to a kid and adult.
