[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids loves to role play. This little Count and Shop set is a great addition for there "home" corner. One shopped for groceries and the other was the cashier. Count and Shop is the everyday set they are playing with daily. Fisher price did it again.. the only down side we have is they keep asking for "real" money now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging was super cute and colorful, which immediately caught my child's attention! She was so excited to open it up and dive right in. Once we took it out of the box, she could start playing right away, and she was engaged for a really long time. It’s also great that we can easily take it with us when we're on the go. I loved that everything needed to play was included, keeping her entertained for ages! One little suggestion for improvement: it would be even more fun if the scanner cord were a bit longer or maybe even cordless, making it easier to scan the groceries. And the coin slot could use a little more distance from the keypad and the cash drawer slot. All in all, this toy is a fantastic choice that I know will last for years, and it will be a perfect addition to our other shopping and store toys!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shop and scan was a huge hit! It was fought over between 2-9 year olds! Everyone wanted to play store. Such a cute toy for a girl or a boy. Activity and sound were spot on! Very easy to understand and use while holding attention!

They pretend play store for hours and also love the different laugh and learn stages activities. There are a lot of small parts to keep track of is the only negative I feel to the toy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this awhile ago, and my daughter loves it! Right out of the package, it was ready for play, with batteries included. The coins (and all the pieces really) are large so they won't get lost and the "cash" is a fabric material so they won't rip or tear like traditional play money. She loves being able to scan each item, run her "credit card" and set up shop for her dolls.

My daughter is on the smaller side for a 2 year old, and this toy looked comically small next to her on the floor while she was playing with it. This is particularly disappointing because this toy is usually used interactively by two people, a buyer and a cashier — which can’t really comfortably be done due to the toys size. My daughter, who loves these types of toys, was initially very excited to play with this cash register but hasn’t really played with it after the first day. I was also surprised to see that most of the plastic items had hollow open bottoms.

The toy food is neat and the hand held scanner beeps but its attached to a wire, the checkout counter does not stay in place. The paper like money is totally cool along with the big plastic coins!

The cash register comes with a lot of food and money play pieces, songs and sounds. It's great to teach her about numbers, money, colors, shapes, etc, with the 3 smart stages levels.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This item was so fun for my toddler. It kept her interest. I feel like some of the little buttons could be simpler and not so much information on it. My kiddo is 5 but for a 2 year old it might be hard.

My girls (3.5 and 18 months) are obsessed with it so much so that we have to set up timers to allow one a chance to be a cashier. We have several other cash registers and this one happens to be their absolute favorite. I love the oversized pieces and sturdy cash register stand. The money is not paper so it will hold up for a long time. The interactive features and different learning levels are appropriately set. It’s the perfect laugh and learn toy! My only wish is that it had some sort of light feature. None of the buttons flow but it would be even cuter if it did. We really love this toy and I’m sure your children will too! I’d highly recommend.

The food toys are shapes that match a shape button! Kids can also press buttons that play songs and the ABC’s as well as $ sounds and a scanner ding! There are two sound levels that are quiet and loud! The set comes with pretend coins, bills and a credit card. The bills are made of a thick, water proof material. Love all the songs, sounds, shapes and the hours that will come playing with this!

Its actually taught them the word money. Cheese and eggs. It helps with multiple types of gross motor skills! I know theyll use if for a long time!

My child is 6 years old and he had fun with level 2 and 3, but also enjoyed exploring level 1. Level 2 is about identifying objects, like it will ask you to find and scan an item that is square. He had so much fun! Level 3 was pretend play which was very engaging! My child loves numbers and math, so the play money component was a big hit. If your child enjoys pretend play, setting up shop etc, this is a wonderful gift choice. I think it is versatile enough for a wide range of ages, and will grow with your child. I love that the toy is small and can be stored when not played with, unlike some bigger versions of play grocery stores.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 4 year old loved it right out of the box. He enjoyed scanning the items. I had to show him how to incorporate the buttons on the cash register. He enjoyed the groceries the most. He even took them to bed. There is a slight delay between scanning and when the register talks back. Also wish the groceries had barcodes the child could scan to make it even more fun. Still a very solid toy my son enjoys.

So many great ways for kids to learn while playing. The toy is great quality and easy to use. The plastic money is definitely a plus. It plays several different songs to teach kids as well. My grandchild loves it and played with it for a long time. Definitely holds their interest.
