As an Italian, I 100% approve of this five cheese rigatoni dish from lean cuisine. I loved the tomato sauce, it wasn't acidic. It was sweet and savory. The cheese was ooey gooey and yummy! The noodles were perfect. Overall, I would DEFINITELY purchase this!

The packaging is standard for this type of product. My favorite part about this meal is that it has plenty of sauce and is not dry like similar products.

It took 3 minutes to cook, then stop stir, then cook for 2 minutes, then let sit for a minute, then can eat. So if taking this for work for a 30-minute break, you may spend a third of your time getting to the microwave and cooking this and if all you get is a 15 minute break this would not be a meal for you. The carbs are high in this meal, the net carbs are 50, and that is what I need in an entire day. The calories are also high, and 10 grams of fat seem kinda high, also. The 14 grams of protein is nice, but the rest doesn't balance to make this a great meal for those of us on certain macro focused diets. Also, the meal looks great on the box and looks pretty good coming out of the box, but once cooked correctly, it looks like baby food. Although the noodles are nicely cooked, the visual is absolutely abysmal. Wish there was a way to put the cheese on after cooking, maybe to make it look more appealing.

The five cheese rigatoni is bomb for quick lunches. It acts as a snack for my teens and a perfect lunch for me to take to work. I have purchased 5-7 boxes per week for over a year. The sauce is literally amazing and every time I cook this at work everyone asks what it is- even purchasing it for themselves now too! BUT WHAT HAPPENED???? The noodles are smaller, the sauce changed (when stirred up, it turns into this nasty mushy orange color) and it’s terrible! The noodles were so thick and firm with this amazing bold RED sauce with a sweet kick. This is an ABSOLUTE FAIL. I’m hoping this was an emergency temporary production issue. I’ve been eating frozen lunches for decades (I’m in my 40’s) and the OG rigatoni was easily best frozen dish out there. Super bummed :(

Just a little more flavor in the sauce and I would have given 5 stars. The portion size was perfect. The packaging was bright and stands out in the cooler.
