The main balance is too large to fit into base. Was never able to even put together and try product.

Not durable enough for classroom use

The Algebra Balance is a great idea, but not durable enough to stand up to classroom use. I have 4 balances, and three of the short hangers have the little plastic hanging hook broken off, making two of my balances unusable. There is a one year warrantee, but after that there are *no replacement parts available*, so teachers be aware you are spending your learning resource dollars on something that you will probably only be able to use for one year.
