Skeleton is a manifestation of our structure.
This is a GREAT way to introduce children to anatomy. I told my grandson, "If not for our skeleton... and bones of all the world's animals that you love, we'd resemble an octopus to the touch."

I would not buy this item again.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pieces were to thin and difficult to handle. They were also too large. Struggled to get them on and off the board.

Highly recommend this if you have a place to put it!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have four year old twin grands who were showing interest in their bodies. They loved this puzzle which conveniently fit on the side of my fridge so they could easily access it. The puzzle is about as tall as they are so they could pull off a piece and place it on their corresponding body part.When we were on vacation, I loaned it to our neighbor who home schools her 7 year old daughter. She and her family also benefited from it. Not just for kids - adults like to rearrange the puzzle so it stands on its head; holds its head in its hands, etc.

Human Body
My 6 year old niece broke her leg during a sledding event. I thought this would be a cute item to send her as a get well. She could perhaps understand how the bones connect and how the break effects other systems. She loved it!! Plus, I thought she and the 12 year old niece could use it in a science project or report sometime in the future.

Skeletal system key is wrong
I really enjoy this product especially since it is two sided. However, for those who use it and are not familiar with the skeletal system the key is wrong so you may want to talk to a health teacher or look up the bones on the internet
