Engaging

It’s fun, so my 4yr old (almost 5) is really engaged. He’s constantly asking to play. Only downside is he needs one of us parents or one of his older brothers (10 & 13) to help him play, so it’s not something he can do independently yet since he’s just starting out, but he’s doing a great job sounding out the letters after he puts the pieces together.

Good for kids to help each other with letters

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even the 3 year old loved this game! Bought for the 5 year old's birthday. Helping him with letter recognition. Great game.

Puzzle fun

This little puzzle set is great for building confidence and learning some new vocabulary. The cards are sturdy and colourful. My five year old enjoys getting them out and putting all the words together, sounding out as he goes. As the puzzles can only be put together in a certain way he is able to ensure he spells the words correctly and independently. To extend this further I then ask him to put them in alphabetical order. Pick five words to make up some silly sentences. Or chose one to draw a picture and write a sentence. The cards are a fun starting point to a number of literary lessons. Or can be used as a game alone. Would definitely recommend!
