Q: Is this for use outdoors? I'm looking for a floodlight bulb for a motion sensor outdoor light.

A: there is no where on the packaging or on the bulb itself that states not for outdoor use. I am a customer that purchased these same bulbs with the same question. my answer would be outdoor use is ok. if that is not the case, than if there is a short circuit doing a fire that would fall directly on Target.

A: I have noticed that many "indoor" flood light bulb brands have descriptions indicating "track and recessed" with pictures of such that clearly show an indoor application. This product also includes the "track and recessed" description on the box. That said, who knows? There are bulbs that are good for both indoor and outdoor use, but my gut tells me this product is designed primarily for indoor use. $20 is not a bad price to gamble on how long they may last outside.
