My Odyssey DFX putter is amazing, very balanced, ball alignment is easy, putter feels great in the hands. Putter makes me feel like I have superior control over my putting capabilities.

This is my 2nd odyssey putter. Hands down some of the best putters on the market. I am a TaylorMade guy but when it comes to my putter I just can’t seem to switch and get away from this callaway product. From the design to the overall soft touch, this putter has significantly improved my short game!!!

I’ve been using a DFX #7 for two years now. The 7 seems to fit my stroke perfectly and the insert is soo soft. The feel and sound is amazing. When I have this putter in my hands it feels like anything is possible. With previous putters I would be hoping to leave it close from 10’ but now I probably sink more than 50-60% of them. Now I confidently leave 40+ footers within 3ft of the hole and probably drop 10-15% of them from 40+. Distance control and accuracy with this thing is a match made in heaven for me. I have had at least 10 rounds under 30 putts since I bought this and my average putts per round have dropped to 32.5. A 3 putt is quite rare for me now. The only problem I’ve found which isn’t really an issue is that the insert is so soft it’s a pro and con. If I don’t clean my ball before every putt, bits of sand that can’t even be noticed on the ball will leave scuffs on the face. But at the same time I love how soft it is, even the white hot insert feels firm to me now and milled face putters feel like putting with a hammer. Also the reason I marked distance as average is because once I’m out past 40 ft or so or am putting uphill I sometimes have to give it a pretty good smack and I’m a finesse putter.
