The only one who can free the world's people from a lifetime under the thumb of a tyrant is a single man; a caviler woodsman with a destiny greater than he can imagine. His name is Richard Cypher and despite his humble beginnings, he has utilized the tutelage of a quirky wizard named Zed to help foster an uprising, to become the hero spoken of in the prophecies of old who will unite his people for a common cause. He is known as the Seeker.

The new characters this season are intriguing, while the ongoing characters are developed even further. As always, the costumes, scenery and special effects are amazing and the storylines remain fresh.

I'm a big fan of the Sword of Truth book series and this show is a great interpritation of it. It loosely follows the plot of the first book while creating adventures of it's very own. Both Richard and Khalin are portrayed nicely by Craig Horner and Bridget Regan. Their chemistry is great and really adds to their performance on screen. Special effects are also a nice step up from what you expect from a tv show. Buy it...you won't regret it!
