I have most of the 2024 City Space series and this was the second last one I wanted/needed. I kept looking at the box every time I went to the various shops and was itching for the excuse to pick it up. My wife had the Books are my Passion set to build and suggested we build at the same time, so I rushed out to get the Space Explorer Rover and Alien Life set. The little aliens and terrain are cute, but the real star is the rover vehicle. Stylistically, it has the sleek lines and smart colour scheme of the rest of the sets. It looks aggressive, fast and rugged. The wheel suspension is fun to play with and there are lots of other features making this a comprehensive set as a gift: it has 2 minifigs, a robot, the 2 aliens, moving features, and upon building it, I noticed a lot of potential for alternate free-form models. If I had anything to suggest, I would have liked to see a couple clips or boxes built into the model for stashing the camera and binoculars, but I guess this is what having a big bin of loose pieces is good for. This is a pretty amazing set. It looks very cool and is an amazing stand alone set any kid or collector would be impressed with.

I like the three-eyed aliens. And the display pad inside the vehicle as well. And my grandma gave me this for celebration of children’s day of Korea. And I like the six wheels of the vehicle. And there are only four minifigures.

The second best of the new space sets in my opinion. It is a great build with lots of rarer pieces and if you just swap out the minifigure head for a classic one it will complete what to me is a beautiful revisiting of the classic space theme! Be sure to check out the small spaceship from this product line too as it is truly amazing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a very strong built, it was an effortless job to do. My ten year old daughter built it easily. We felt it was very educational her brains were stimulated and learned a lot from it. Loved it. My husband and I enjoyed watching her put each and every piece together and see the end product being super sturdy and classy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Legos are and always have been a thing in my household because of my nephews. They absolutely love them. I received this products for free from Influenster and brand(s) in exchange for my honest review and was excited to try. once my nephews came over we got to work. we loved how there were different sections that allowed each one of them to do their own thing while working towards the same end goal. the instructions were easy to follow and it was just a fun pass time. It took us about an hour to build the Lego but that was between a 8 and 10 year old and an adult. I would say supervision is needed because some of the parts were very tiny but otherwise this is a great activity for kids.

I have built quite a few intricate bigger builds, but this was my favorite. The intricacy of the design along with the creativity was simply stunning. I like the functionality of it and the theme. The mini figs are also so involved. Hands down my favorite build yet. Thank you LEGO, you made another great set.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LEGOS for the win! LEGO’s are definitely one of the coolest toys I think, since I have been old enough to know kids toys and similar! They actually seem like they would be super fun as an adult and I think it would be cool if they came out with LEGO’s for adults…. I love how much LEGO has expanded! When I was young, they just had the original LEGO’s, just squares and stuff to make houses, stack and more. & now, you name it they have it! I always recommend LEGO’s! This one was particularly fun, for both boys and girls.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lego always means quality, and this product continues to build that reputation. The directions were easy enough to follow that my children were able to build this without adult help. The features on the space vehicle are incredible, suspension, shocks, hidden doors, etc. we will be buying more!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this free from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. I have always been a fan of Lego toys and so when I got the opportunity to try this, I was excited. With 311 pieces, it is no small project. Great to spend time building with my daughter. Of course I will be the one who plays with it once it is built. I like that it comes with all of the parts and with aliens to enjoy even more. Creativity is the best part of any Lego project. Once we finish it, I will let my wife take it to school for her students to play with so they can help build their creativity. Next stop...outer space!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My nephew is loving this. There are a lot of pieces but it didn't take him too long to get it out together. It is sturdy and runs great. Legos are always well made but so cool that you can make designs like this.

Thumbs down graphic, would not recommend
Fuchsiaotter - 1 year ago
Legos always have nice tires, but not this set, it’s just plastic wheels. My kid is upset about how the wheels slide on the floor and don’t ride smoothly and nicely.

Near perfect ground transport!

5 out of 5 stars
AttentiveTrain077 - 1 year ago

Love it and the suspension is very pleasing in keeping all wheels on the ground. Although the rear large triangular door surround maybe have some flex issues over time as it’s is the main grab location and has no other attachment other than the base. The gap flexes when grabbed there. Don’t wanna be negative though as this thing is sick and will be a memorable one.
