I bought this set for myself cause I thought it looked great, and now that I own it, I can proudly say that this was one of the best decisions of my life, the minifigures are amazing, and the build may not be minifigure accurate scaled, this set still looks great, I was curious how they were gonna do Aunt Marge, and it looks great, the rooms included in this set look good, and I think the only flaw is that there should have been more play features. Good job Lego!!!
It's ok to admit they're charging too much

i think it's very telling when you see all these new sets getting reviews from people who were part of a paid promotion - so of course they aren't going to be super critical, and since they either got the set for free or were paid, they certainly won't talk about how lego has been raising prices on many of these sets and decreasing the value. Many new sets are overpriced but this one takes the cake. 639 pieces for $89.99 is absurd and needs to be called out as such.

The builds are getting smaller and the price is going up. The older HP Lego sets I owned were so much better than these new ones. Makes me regret giving some away. It’s still a fun set, if you aren’t constantly comparing it to previous Privet Drive builds. :-/

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a great time building the Harry Potter Lego set. It took me about 3 hours from start to finish, and the whole process was super easy. The instructions were easy to read, and everything was labeled clearly, so there was no confusion at all. It was really run to put together, and seeing the little details come to life was awesome. This set definitely makes me want to try more Lego builds in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What’s not to love about some Legos? Think my boyfriend really enjoyed it and he doesn’t have any weird smiles or anything. It seems pretty decent and good value for the money. The packaging is nice as well. It’s a little secure so that you don’t lose some of your pieces overall I like it And I’m usually not a fan of Legos but I enjoyed playing with it. Definitely recommend to anybody who is trying out any type of Legos. It’s a great start.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Legos set it so cute! It took us some time to actually finish it but we did and now its going up on the book shelf for display! Alot of pieces, and make sense for the price of the set. Recommend this for sure. I've never done a Harry Potter Lego set before! So I was excited to get this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Lego set is absolutely adorable. It took about 2 1/2 hours to put together. The directions were very clear and all the pieces were separated nicely. If you love Harry Potter, you will love the details in this Lego set. I would love to put together more Legos from this set. Highly highly recommended if you are a fan of Legos or if you are a fan of Harry Potter or both!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely LOVE LEGO! And this is one of my favorite scenes from my favorite of the 8 HP movies, so it was even more exciting to get this set. I love how clear the LEGO instructions are, with big pictures and parts sorted. The journey is just as fun as the destination when it comes to LEGO.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been hating on Lego sets for the last few years and even received one recently that I didn't leave good reviews on. This one however was different as it was a good time to assemble & I think this is where Lego really thrives is in the fantasy realm. I still feel they designed these for Reddit users as they inflate the numbers on the box and over simplify the instructions so that they can boast to their internet friends that they built a 1k piece set that before would have came to 600 pieces. The world of harry potter does fit in this novelty of fun and something you can share with your children.

Love that Lego builds new pieces for this series. We have a great many of them because we consider them collectibles. Some of our most precious memories are building these sets with our son.

Best Version of LEGO Privet Drive

Of the three versions of this set to exist this is by far the best one. It includes the most rooms and the house has a back side that can be closed, as well as all members of the Dursley family including Marge, who first appears in this set. There are a lot of details fans of the series should recognize such as the contents of Dudley's room which are described in the books but not shown in the films. The downsides of this set are the use of stickers on small pieces that can easily be placed crookedly, and the inside of the house feels very cramped, even for the LEGO figures inside. If you are a fan of Harry Potter and did not purchase the previous Privet Drive set from The Chamber of Secrets, then I’d recommend getting this one, and even if you have that set this one offers a more complete experience and exclusive figures.
