LEGO for me is Minecraft in the real world, this set was a delight to build, it’s very accurate to in game details, and while it is challenging to get all the pieces straight, it’s worth it in the end!

Really enjoyed this set. So much so I got a second so I could close it up and make it solid. Changed the inside a little but not much. Had a lot of fun building this set. Highly recommend before it retires. (Zombie micro fig not included. Comes with Minecraft advent calendar.)

It’s an amazing set but a couple complaints the building experience was fun but a bit of a pain because so many small pieces and I had to take extra time to make sure everything was on right but besides that I’d say it’s great build experience. I would also say play experience shouldn’t exist cause it’s a set to look at not play but besides that it’s amazing I love it.

I'm one of these grown-ups who grew up with Lego and now have a room full of adult Legos. My daughter grew up with both Lego and Minecraft, so this was a must-buy for me. Even though this is marketed for adults, my daughter built this herself at age 9 (she let me build one or two bags to be nice, even though she didn't need to). It's a brilliant piece. While other Minecraft sets are more literal interpretations of the Minecraft world, this one is a little more abstract. What's brilliant about it is that even though the biomes are reductive, they're stylized in ways that you can immediately tell what they represent. The cherry grove biome with its pink trees, the ice spikes biome with its giant blocks of blue and white ice, the villages with their gable roofs, and even the adorable little representations of characters like Steve, Alex, and mobs, all reduced to three 1x1 thin square blocks. Each of the biomes is its own standalone piece, but they all come together to form the diorama. It's one of the most brilliant designs I've seen, and it all fits within a 5.5" x 5.5" x 5.5" cube. We buy a lot of licensed products, but Lego is one of the few that you can tell really share passion for the brand, perhaps thanks to their shared creative DNA. This set is full of little details and surprises, such as the slanted "quotes" you see on the splash screen of the game and the "proper" shade of green for oak, spruce, and birch trees. One of the most clever builds are the caves...you build part of a lush cave, a dripstone cavern, and an abandoned mineshaft, but they're all hidden in the corner so that only the builder knows they're there. This definitely falls under one of my top 10 builds, and bear in mind that I've build hundreds of sets over the years. Highly recommended.

my son and i opened the first bag and from the start, the pieces did not coincide with the visual directions. we tried four different ways and times to build the base to no avail. we usually love lego sets but this one was totally disappointing. will be returning.

If this set is like a box and open the door to see inside will be more cool instead is just three surface

The building process was amazing, the fact that everything is tiled is SO nice. If YOUVE never watched the YouTube channel CheesyStudios you need to watch it. He tiles everything and having this set tiled makes a huge difference.

As a minecraft fan turned out amazing and it was super easy to build, nothing went wrong!

I freaking loved this set. It took about 2 days to build, and it looks incredible! I love how it can be displayed in 2 different ways. Great way to honor Minecraft and how far its gone!

Very Good, I liked putting it together and it looks nice.

This is such a fun set! It took quite a bit to assemble but I love how it has so many different sections that get put to together to make one big piece. Very cool set.

Whether for a child or a collector, this set is a fantastic addition that captures the essence of Minecraft. Lego sets are expensive, but for the amount of excitement, entertainment and the way it looks on my daughter’s shelf, it’s definitely worth it . Lots of awesome details in it just like minecraft. This is the most fun we’ve had building a lego set in quite a while. I will mention that it can be tricky at first, the foundation can sometimes get tricky, but once you have the bottom built it’s fairly easy from that point on forward. Also it’s worth mentioning that when the top foundation is on, it does make the inside world look pretty dark so I would recommend leaving it off or displaying it on a high shelf to avoid shadows. Overall, I am extremely impressed with this set and would highly recommend it!

I am absolutely in love and was ecstatic with every biome I was building. There's a lot more than I initially thought [spoiler] with the little caves underneath a few of the biomes, and those had me most excited! Fair warning, there are a lot of little pieces. The only minor issues I have is that I would have liked a better view into these mining caves from the outside and that the underside of the crafting table's top was sky blue instead of white so it better matches the sky blue side walls.
