Fun little set

Great small set
I bought this set for my son. He built it imeaditly and loved it. He says th frog is very good and got his firsr Lego slime. The inclusion of a zombie is nice for building an army of mobs. He was a bit sad that it included a basic Alex skin, wich he has a million of already. It had a basic tnt trap that is still fun to play with. It is a great cheap expansions to a Lego Minecraft world

I think the best part about this set is that the frog works as a minifigure head, and I think that's hilarious. If there's anything wrong with the set, it's that the explode function is too exposed, and if I must nitpick, the frog is the temperate/cold color rather than the tropical one - perhaps the brown plate is part of one of those biomes. Other than that, it's a great set that encapsulates the mangrove swamp for a price point that is insanely affordable; I would not be surprised if people buy multiple just for the frog and the rounded jumper plate.

This set comes with a Minecraft Frog. It gets an automatic 5 stars for that reason alone. It's worth getting this set just to have this perfect being of molded plastic in your life. Frog aside, this is overall a solid set. It comes with a good selection of versatile blocks, figures, and items. This makes it a great, inexpensive set to pick up for someone who is just getting into Lego Minecraft. It's also very commendable how the designers managed to capture the look and feel of the small Mangrove trees from the game in this set. My one complaint, and the reason why I docked a point off the build experience, is that because of how the pieces were packaged together some of the 1x1 tiles ended up being wedged in the underside of some of the 2x2 bricks, and were a pain to get out. I doubt this is an issue exclusive to this set, but it's something to be aware of.

This is the perfect little swamp scene! I was so excited to see a set with the frog, I work with amphibians professionally and enjoy playing minecraft, so this was the perfect addition to my collection after the axolotl set!
