    This is the most affordable Lego Pokémon set

    They said the most affordable all the other ones are way too expensive and the smart brakes raise of the cost. They should be normal size and mini figure size maybe even a mini figure.

    best of the first wave

    i named her Olive. she was very fun to build, and even more fun to play with. this set is sturdy, smooth, and delightfully posable. i recommend it to any Pokémon fan. definitely the strongest of the first wave.

    Okay but poor value

    I struggle a bit that the Pokémon sets are more aimed at adults when young kids are desperate for some Pokémon Lego. Luckily my son is a good builder so was more than fine with this set and he's really happy with it. I think as the purchaser, it's very poor value and could have come with a stand or scene to justify the premium status. I think Lego needs to make a more kid friendly range with prices that mean kids can add more Pokémon to their collection. The range seems to fundamentally miss what is so great about Pokémon

    My perfect boy

    Out of all the current Pokémon sets this one is the crown jewel. The poseability is more than I was expecting based on how polished and hidden the joints are and this smoothness makes it very nice to hold. The head droops a little in certain poses, but it is overall a stable and enjoyable set for play and display. It's just a fuzzy little guy and I love looking at his wittle face. One note however is the build is very much the same throughout, as is the case with most animal builds. If you dislike repetitive creature builds this will be no different from similar quadrupeds. The head poses some challenge but don't let the age scare you from gifting this to an eager Pokémon fan; a teenager above 13 could realistically build this just fine.
