NASCAR
The NASCAR Camaro is one of my favorite cars. The car looked great overall but there are too many stickers, the interior is detailed well enough, and the paint scheme is great. NASCAR is one of my favorite auto racing type of sport, too bad that it's going to retire soon. I originally bought it just two days after Christmas in 2024, so I am not worried about it. Keep up the good work, LEGO!

Well...it's colorful!
To address the elephant in the room: this livery is…a choice. The colors of the bricks play together well, but there are a lot of stickers and some of them are absolutely unnecessary. The build itself is fun, with a lot of the surprises that Speed Champions is known for (the detailed interior is great!), but there are several places where parts are only held in place by a single stud for several steps before being secured, which makes it a bit fragile, as other reviewers have said. The end result is pretty solid and playable, and it’s definitely a different subject, but ultimately this is a love it or hate it entry in the series.

Cool but too fragile
Cool build but I’ve never had a set so easy to accidentally break apart. Especially when trying to add last few pieces. Too fragile and every time I’d add a partly constructed piece to the car another piece would loosen or fall off. Sometimes making me go back a few steps and rebuild. I know legos can sorta do this but in my experience, this has been the most temperamental. I did want to give it 3 stars because it could very well just be the set we got.

I absolutely love Lego brand. This set is the speed champions collection, and it was super fun and an easy build. The assembly is easy with the help of easy to read instructions. It's held up so good after being build, the legos are very good quality, as always. This one comes with 328 pieces.

An ode to speed champions.
The speed champions theme has been very good to me all these years, and this set in particular did not disappoint. As always the build was super unique using pieces in very unique ways, particularly the front hood and rear spoiler and exhaust areas. The color choice was a bit strange to me at first but I’m really warming up to it, and it stands out well on my display shelf despite being a boxy nascar. That said I do think that a new windshield piece mold could be beneficial for some sets. The stickers work well with the color gradient, and are surprisingly not overwhelming. I still wish they had some smaller pieces were printed, and the larger pieces on the sides had stickers that stretched top to bottom more to align with both the black on the bottom and spotted pattern on the top. Overall another banger from the most creative team at LEGO. Thanks for the care put into this line.

My son's review: The Lego NASCAR Next Gen Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 was a fantastic build, it was super enjoyable, and it looks super good on display. I loved the printed pieces in the set they are always so much better than the stickers. I loved the colours and the stickers on the set they stand out make the car look great. I loved certain designs on the car they made it look nice and realistic. Overall I would de-nitely recommend this to someone who likes NASCAR or even cars in general it’s definitely worth the price and you won’t regret buying it.
