LEGO Technic NEOM McLaren Formula E Race Car Toy 42169

There were a lot of weird pieces. And this was my first TECHNIC Lego. And it was the hardiest Lego I have got. And the cool thing about this Lego is that you can pull back and it will go.

What intrigues me most about all the Lego products I've assembled is their attention to detail. This Race Car doesn't disappoint despite the arguments between my fat fingers and the instructions! This thing is 12-1/2 inches long, so far. I don't think it will grow much. There are only 3 bags of parts and one more for the tires. And I can't stop giggling with joy and awe. From "What on earth is this?" to "Oh, WOW!" the parts come together with precision. I agonize over the decals, I've never been great with applying them but that doesn't diminish the fun. And to think, I've never been a car buff!

The quality is outstanding. Each piece fits perfectly and the assembly is smooth. The car itself has a steering function as well as pull back and release to go function.

Two teenagers put this together over a few days and didn’t have a hard time at all. We were supervised that it pulls back and shoots across the room. They love the design and it’s held up being played with for a couple weeks now.

Once together you can pull it back and let it go it takes off really well. It was a lot of fun watching the excitement they got from completing the build.

Even though it’s Formula E, he doesn’t know the difference. We love McLaren as well so this was a super cool set for us. Don’t let the larger exterior pieces fool you, this is a tough set and definitely needs an adult to help. The functional “pull back” wheels are really cool that make the car move. Although we don’t play with it, it’s put up out of reach of our toddler.

This was fun easy build I enjoyed it a lot I would recommend for first timers

Most of the shipments at least half of all the lego boxes were damaged and the packages inside the lego boxes had dead insects……terrible 😩😩😩😩😩

It was a rather quick build. The only thing that was time consuming was lining up all the stickers.

After building F1 and Extreme e this completed the set perfectly!

The product was so much fun to build and I'm thinking of coming back to get a new lego set soon.
