As a Ayrton Senna fan, it is always exciting to see a set devoted to the man and the team that built one of the most amazing F1 cars. While the build is great the this set misses the mark aesthetically in two ways the front and the rear tire. The nose is very flat and the rear tyres are not wide enough. I’m hoping that Lego will allow people that purchased this set to get replacement rear tyres from the new Nigel Mansell set.

I am not normally disappointed by Lego sets, but this one is really not great. The paint on the nose piece is very poorly don't and the rear tires are completely wrong.

The build was quite simple and pretty fun. Only issue is that there is a random ball joint at the rear tires left with no connection. Other than that, the display is fantastic and the set had minimal stickers which is always nice to see especially with a race car. Of course it would be nice to have accurate sponsors but some wouldn’t be “kid friendly” so I understand.

What an excellent set! As a life long Senna fan it was only appropriate to get this to honor the greatest driver and greatest car in F1. Some small pieces were annoying but well worth it. Also loved the Brazilian easter eggs!

Just finished the new MP4/4 kit. A relatively simple but very enjoyable build - very therapeutic (which is why at 70+ I do Lego). There are issues as already mentioned but for me none are deal-breakers although the one I'd want fixed most is the rear tyre size. But why in this day & age do we still have stickers, especially as some parts are pre-printed? Baffling! Overall however this produces a quite detailed and good piece which I am happy to have in the display cabinet. So Lego how about other iconic F1 cars in this scale - Tyrell P34 6-wheeler, Brabham BT46 fan car or Lotus 49 perhaps?

One of the things I love about Lego is the "intricacies of the hidden" there is stuff you never see that is harder to build than the bits on show! This set is excellent and the built in display stand is a really nice touch!

This set was great to build, geared a little more towards older children rather than adults who would be a little more aware of who Ayrton Senna was. Some improvements I would make to the pieces are having flat face pieces where any exposed lugs are, especially on the front spoiler, it would make more sense as these cars are built with aerodynamics in mind. I love Lego and the sets they put out, but there are improvements I would like to see in general to allow for more DIY custom builds, some pieces that competitors have released to allow for this without the use of technic pieces

This was the first Lego set I've bought for myself. As an F1 fan I was a bit skeptical how the Lego bricks would copy the look of the original car, but man was I wrong. The build looks brilliant, all the little details from the engine, to the sponsorship stickers were crafted with every detail in mind. It looks superb. As a beginner builder I was worried I might struggle with some of the fiddlier bits. There was a few times my untrained fingers struggling to attach things together, but overall the build was a breeze. The instructions were nice and clear. It's clear to see why so many people enjoy building Legos, and I think I may have caught the bug!
