Description
Get water from any well by hand! Our well buckets work at any depth. Special leak-proof valve opens to fill then closes automatically when bucket is drawn up. Use for emergencies and temporary installations. Not intended for everyday use. Galvanized steel with watertight, crimped seams. Reinforced with 16-gauge crossbar and extra-strong bottom. You may have to remove any installed submersible pump before using a well bucket. Holds 1.9 gallons. Fits wells down to 4"ID. 2" welded ring for rope. 3-1/2" OD x 52" L. 4 lb. Locally made by the Amish.

Peace of mind, and works very well!
The well bucket arrived in perfect condition, and does the job exactly as described. Living in the far north, I pull the back-up hand pump on my well every fall before the freezing weather begins. This well bucket will take up the slack when the power is out. (Happens frequently as on a very rural electrical co-op). I love the pull/release system so you can easily dispense the water into a bucket without flipping the whole thing around to pour. The bucket is well made, and extremely well thought out.

Great reserve well solution.
Why wouldn't you have this on hand in case your well stops working or the electricity goes out? This is a no brainer! I have not tested it yet, but I keep it on hand in case something happens.

Emergency backup
Arrived in good condition and looks and feels sturdy. We bought it as backup for an extended "grid down" situation and it gives me peace of mind to know that it's there if we ever need it, though I hope we never do.

Just what I wanted for
Just what I wanted for when the electricity goes out and we can SEE the water in our well but can't access it. Well made. Fits in our well perfectly. Easy to use. Great price. I hope I won't have to use it very often, but I'm very glad to have it!

We have a well with an electric pump. And in cases of emergency, I wanted to be able to access our water, so I looked into getting a hand pump to install on top of the wellhead, but the prices were very high. This is perfect for what we need, and can't be beat for the price! So glad I found it!
