It powers the laptop with no issues as is significantly smaller than the original charger. It is still a little heavy but not unreasonably so for the power it can supply. In my opinion, it is well worth the money to get a genuine lenovo product instead of a cheap aftermarket, especially when dealing with these high performance laptops.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) It's always a good idea to have a secondary charge unit that is mobile-ready. This AC charger is slim enough, despite being a bit heavier, to slip in my laptop bag when I'm travelling with my laptop.

I bought this one as a spare in case one fails connected to +- 5 Thinkpads in use. I also like the "slim tip" rectangular shape as it seems to prevent getting loos in the Think Pad Receptacle like some Round tip ones do.

This is significantly smaller so it's great for transport, and works perfectly using the balanced profile. I don't use the performance profile so I can't say if it will hold up to a full load...
