A: Hi, thanks for inquiring. Based off resources reviewed from PlayStation, the PlayStation 5 is only compatible with the PS5 HD Camera or the PlayStation Camera (CUH-ZEY series). You cannot use other webcams with the PS5.

Worked straight out of the box.
I bought this webcam as a second face-recognition camera to use when I was using an external monitor and keyboard and my Lenovo laptop was closed. I was expecting to have to set up face recognition again with the new camera but when I connected the camera and set it on top of my monitor it worked straight away without any set-up at all! In fact it is working better than my laptop camera which regularly stops working (until the next windows update, for some reason). With the Lenovo external camera there have been no such problems. also the face recognition is almost instantaneous, as soon as I wake up my laptop from sleep, much faster than my laptop camera. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Affordable Webcam That Delivers
For the price, this webcam offers excellent value. Video quality is crisp, and the built-in microphone is impressively clear. I really appreciate the physical on/off shield for privacy, and the multi-axis rotation gives plenty of flexibility. I’ve mounted mine on a flexible camera arm, which makes positioning even easier. The default angle of view is a bit wider than I personally prefer, but it’s workable and doesn’t detract much from the overall experience. Overall I find it to be a well-designed, dependable webcam at a competitive price point.

PnP on Linux desktop. Perfect

I bought this cam because it listed support for chrome os, so I knew it was a generic usb video class device that wouldn't need a driver and work plug-and-play on my Linux desktop. Plugged it in, started zoom and everything worked as expected. Image looks good and a sample recording showed the audio was acceptable for video conferencing. I can't really ask for more out of a webcam, the only selfish request I could have is I would have liked a cool tally light on top like some other models have, not for any real reason other than because it looks cool.
