A: Hi, thanks for inquiring. Based off resources reviewed from PlayStation, the PlayStation 5 is only compatible with the PS5 HD Camera or the PlayStation Camera (CUH-ZEY series). You cannot use other webcams with the PS5.

Good Camera But...

Good unit for the price
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The camera is crisp, the wide angle view puts my face far away enough from the camera that I am no encroaching on people’s monitors. The mic seems fine, although there is echo at times, not sure if it is the camera or my setup. Great plug and play, good unit for the price.

Worked straight out of the box.
I bought this webcam as a second face-recognition camera to use when I was using an external monitor and keyboard and my Lenovo laptop was closed. I was expecting to have to set up face recognition again with the new camera but when I connected the camera and set it on top of my monitor it worked straight away without any set-up at all! In fact it is working better than my laptop camera which regularly stops working (until the next windows update, for some reason). With the Lenovo external camera there have been no such problems. also the face recognition is almost instantaneous, as soon as I wake up my laptop from sleep, much faster than my laptop camera. I am very pleased with this purchase.

This is not a USB-C webcam out of the box.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this product specifically because it advertises in the tech specs USB-C connectivity and I had a specific need for a device that would use a USB-C port and not USB-A. When shipped the camera is only USB-C on the camera end and was shipped with a C to A cable - exactly what I did not need. I had to go spend more money to buy A to C adapters. Lenovo should properly explain the connectivity situation for this device in the tech specs.

Affordable Webcam That Delivers
For the price, this webcam offers excellent value. Video quality is crisp, and the built-in microphone is impressively clear. I really appreciate the physical on/off shield for privacy, and the multi-axis rotation gives plenty of flexibility. I’ve mounted mine on a flexible camera arm, which makes positioning even easier. The default angle of view is a bit wider than I personally prefer, but it’s workable and doesn’t detract much from the overall experience. Overall I find it to be a well-designed, dependable webcam at a competitive price point.

Improved camera angles and virtual engagement
