Lenovo Yoga 7 14” WUXGA 2-in-1 Touchscreen Laptop, AMD Ryzen 5 8640HS, 8GB RAM, 512GB SSD, Windows 11 Home

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. Save yourself I bought this product and in less than a month it stopped working on me. First, a blue screen kept showing up asking for a recovery code. I hated this yet I let it slide. Then now my laptop will not turn on. When I open it, it shows “please select boot device” yet nothing happens when I select something. I then called Lenovo for help they did nothing and said they would send me a USB drive in 3 days but it has been a week and nothing. The more I wait the closer the return date.

This is my second Lenovo Yoga. This one is faster but a little heavier which is probably related to the excellent battery life. The keyboard and track pad both have a good feel. I like the facial recognition feature for unlocking the laptop. It's got a micro SD slot. I'm used the regular SD card in my previous device but it's easy to adjust to the smaller card. Overall I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

Why would I even look at another brand when the first one set the benchmark so high. So, I purchased #2 at a very reasonable price and it's FANTASTIC...!

Doesn't do screen mirroring tho, which is something I'm adjusting to having converted from a macbook to this lenovo laptop. But its okay I got a powerful computer for a good price ! It is quite heavy tho but very sleek design.

Great 2-1 Laptop. Specs are very good and price was great. The 14" screen size is perfect for travelling and desktop work with 2 external monitors. Appreicate the included stylus.

The only improvement I would suggest is an off switch for the digital pen. If it isn't used in a while and the battery is left in, there is a possibility the battery could run down and start to leak, but that is a minor problem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, I cannot believe that the Yoga 7 series is the only 2-in-1 laptop model with AMD Ryzen CPU options, and they are not the latest AMD Ryzen CPUs. Lenovo should create more 2-in-1 laptop models with AMD Ryzen CPUs, but we tech heads know that this is due to Intel's strong-arm tactics. Additionally, this model should have at least one SO-DIMM RAM slot if not the Yoga 9 series. Not to mention, the display should have been brighter without having to opt for the OLED option as official reviews stated.

Solid build, fast and good design generally. Though like others, I think the placement of the power button was poorly thought through. You accidentally hit it from time to time when picking up the computer. The lack of a haptic touch pad is also a bit irritation. The physical clock is a bit slower and very loud. These issues aren't a deal breaker given the price.
