Officially licensed product. Contains 53 detailed parts. Paint and cement required (not included). Manufacturer's original unopened packaging. Parts molded in LIGHT GRAY, unless otherwise indicated. Dimensions approximately L-7.75, W-10 inches assembled. Four detailed figures: pilot, gunner, deck handler, and landing signal officer. Operating landing gear, movable machine gun, dive flaps and dropping bomb. Decals included for Dauntless from USS Wasp, Guadalcanal, 7 August 1942, and no.25 squadron RNSZAF Seagrove New Zealand, July 1943. The U.S. Navy SBD Dauntless was the most famous carrier-based dive bomber of World War II. Built by Douglas Aircraft Company it served the Navy, Marines and the Army (as the A-24) and also many of our World War II allies.
