Q: Can all lights on this unit be turned off while being operated? I have another model that allows all lights be turned off while I use at night.

A: Yes, press and hold the night light button to turn off all lights on the air purifier, including button lights. To turn the button lights back on, press any button except the power button.

Q: Do you have to replace the filters or are you able to cleam/ash them and reuse?

A: It is recommended to change the filters after about 6-8 months of use or at your own discretion. To maintain your filter, you may regularly gently shake or vacuum the filters (but do not use water). Trapped water particles may result in mold growth or mildew smells

A: Aside from the PlasmaPro 200S, 400s, and 600S models (which have an optional plasma function), all Levoit air purifiers are ozone-free and do not produce ions. Please note that the PlasmaPro models also have ozone-free versions on our website (Core 200S, 400S, & 600S). They work purely mechanically by drawing in air and filtering it through our 3-stage filtration system.

Great for pet owners!
I've noticed a difference in dust and cat dander since using this. My best friend is allergic to cats and used to have a hard time coming over to my apartment, but with this in the living room, she has no problems!

Started quiet and then got loud
Like another reviewer, mine started out very quiet but after a couple months got much louder for no obvious reason. Helps during allergy season
As someone with severe allergies and asthma, I initially bought a purifier from this company two months ago. This unit is a great size for a nightstand and seems to be helping with all the pet dander in our bedroom. It’s very quite on the 1st setting, very loud on the 3rd, and the 2nd setting sounds like a white noise machine with slightly higher volume. I normally sleep with a white noise machine so I don’t mind, but it might not work for you if you need silence to sleep.

I can’t compare this to other brands because this is my first one. It runs quiet and after 1 week of constant running in the bedroom, I no longer see particulates floating in the sunbeams. Cleared Room of Dryer Vent Stench!
Highly fragranced laundry products are fouling the air so badly these days (goodbye fresh air, goodbye scent of flowers and trees)! I can no longer leave windows open unless I'm IN the room and ready to shut them as soon as any one of my neighbors fires up a dryer. Today, I left my home office for a minute (!) with the window open and came back to that dreaded laundry stench. I turned this unit on high, and it cleared the odor in a few minutes. That's gold to me. Maybe some day people will stop using those disgusting products; until then, I'm grateful for this carbon purifier.
