Excellent versatile monitor for work and gaming
Excellent versatile monitor for work and game. The angle of curvature works for me. Though this misses USB C connectivity but its fine for me. Also the monitor operates at 50hz for HDMI for higher refresh rate you need DisplayPort connection.

Not an OLED panel
The black levels are not good. I still see individual pixels turn off on black screen on my old LG OLED A1 TV purchased 4 years ago. It's night and day difference. I highly doubt this monitor has an OLED panel.

Hi there! Thank you for your valuable feedback regarding the LG 34G600A-B monitor. Please note that this model features an LCD panel, which differs from the OLED technology used in your LG A1 TV. As a result, differences in black levels and pixel behavior are expected. We appreciate your understanding and are here to assist you with any questions or support you may require.

Solid ultrawide, still works great after 1.5 years
I've been using this monitor for about 1700 hours at the time of writing, and overall, I'm pretty happy with it. The fact that it is ultrawide and 34" offers some nice immersion and it has fairly sharp images. The refresh rate is a great upgrade from my usual 60, games feel way smoother. It looks great because it is 3440x1400, way sharper than my usual 1080p. I only use display port with the cable it comes with but it is nice that it has 2x hdmi ports as well. With that said, it's not perfect. There is a small ghosting issue that's noticeable if you pay close attention. Along with that, if I place my phone near the monitor, the display starts acting up (black bars appear and the image cuts in and out). I'm not sure why it does this, but it isn't terrible as long as I keep my phone away from my monitor. Despite those minor flaws, the monitor has been very solid otherwise with no crashes or performance issues over my long use of it.

Hey there! It's great to hear you're 1700 hours in and loving your 34-inch Curved UltraGear monitor! In regard to your phone being near your monitor, you're likely experiencing electromagnetic interference (EMI) or radio-frequency interference (RFI) when holding your phone near your monitor. Monitors are not perfectly shielded and can be susceptible to these electromagnetic fields. This would be the reasoning behind this impediment. Help
Connections using DP cable supplied to HP Elite book with iris xe graphics hook via a HP G5 usbc docking station and I cannot get the 3440 x 1440 res to work on both monitors. One only will give me 1920 × 1080 II updated drivers and still no go. Opening the laptop screen kills video on both monitors I had 2 Samsungs 26 inch before with no issues

Hey there! We appreciate you sharing your LG UltraGear experience with us. Full resolution at 160Hz can really change the way you game and view content, so we'd love to help! If you're using an external USB-C docking station to power two separate displays, we recommend trying to connect the monitor directly to your HP EliteBook. USB-C docking stations, even those with Thunderbolt 3 or 4 support, have a finite amount of bandwidth. When driving two high-resolution displays, especially at higher refresh rates, the dock might be the limiting factor. It needs to split the bandwidth between video output, USB ports, and other potentially connected peripherals. This is especially important if the dock does not support DisplayPort 1.4 for optimal performance at 3440 x 1440 and higher refresh rates. Regarding your HP EliteBook specifications, integrated graphics solutions like Iris Xe share system memory and PCIe bandwidth with the CPU. This shared resource pool can become a bottleneck when trying to drive high-resolution, high-refresh-rate displays simultaneously. Testing with your LG UltraGear connected directly to your HP EliteBook without other external displays connected can indicate if this is a potential bottleneck in your system specifications. If you still need help with your LG UltraGear, please get in touch with us on social media @LGUSSupport. We're always happy to help! For support with your HP EliteBook or HP G5 Dock, we recommend reaching out to HP directly. *Joseph

Definitely worth the price!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had this monitor for about years now and it works beautiful. Love the ultrawide screen. So crisp and smooth playing games at 160hz with Display port. Of course it also depends on your pc setup. Very happy customer.

Great Monitor, Colours Are Fantastic !
I had read some bad reviews on this monitor, and in the past and despite that, I purchased one. Because all LG Monitors that I've owned in the past, have been great. I love how you can customise the screen to maximise your productivity with the LG OnScreen Control. I have two LG 34" UltraWide Monitors and my other one is the fixed stand LG 34" Monitor, and I have that connected via a HDMI port which gets 85Hz. The 34BP65C-B model, I have it connected via a USB-C to DP cable, and I'm getting 160Hz. The things that LG can improve on is letting the public know, on the page on the UltraWide Monitor page, is there is a difference in Hz output using a DP and HDMI cable. And to state that fact. Also LG can do better in Registering a product purchased as I had an numerous unsuccessful attempts to register on my PC and phone. In the end I had to use "Live" chat that LG provides, to successfully register my monitor.

Great Looking Monitor
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just purchased this. Looks great. No dead pixels. Going to enjoy playing my games using this monitor. Love the high resolution. Only issue I have experienced is a lower than expected frequency. I learned that I have to use a display port instead of HDMI. Have the resolution up to 100 Hz, hoping newly purchased display port adapter will do the trick.

The only thing missing is the possibility to adjust the screen vertically = up and down on the stand.

Lots of screen space
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago and I am very happy with it. I do not use it mainly for work and the screen space is incredible. I am able to have about six full sized windows across the screen and this makes work way more efficient. The monitor is well built, and it is easy to see that it is a premium product. I am so glad I made this purchase.

Excellent Monitor for WFH
I absolutely love this monitor and mostly use it when I need to WFH (I'm a System Administrator and also perform auditing and develop procedures etc.). Before this purchase I used two separate monitors - wow what a difference this has made, especially when re-viewing large word documents as it displays 4 pages in a row at a time which makes for supper efficiency! Unsure what other reviewers are talking about re bottom rows of pixels and not being able to adequately see the Task Bar - I certainly do not experience that issue and can see the Task Bar perfectly well, no issue whatsoever. It is a beautiful monitor as well, love the crispness, stable stand (which maximises desk space) and the hight-adjustability is a must have. Very happy with this purchase and comes at a very good price too - very impressed.
